Position Overview
Under the direction of the Leads, Supervisors and/or Managers, Kitting & Assembly General Workers perform all activities to assemble a finished product, ensuring the highest quality product at the lowest possible cost, meeting customer specifications and delivery requirements, in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Shift: Monday - Friday, 10:45pm - 7:15am
Responsibilities
• Demonstrate proficiency in all Kitting & Assembly level duties and responsibilities.
• Assist Line Leads to supervise Kitting & Assembly lines in flow and work assignments. Assist Line Leads to keep lines moving as efficiently as possible without jeopardizing quality.
• Aid Line Leads to ensure accuracy and proficiency on their Kitting line.
• Perform line audits.
• Report to Supervisor if issues occur regarding temporary workers or other employees
• Contact Supervisor/Leads regarding issues with Kits.
• Assist the Kitting line to ensure finished Kits are created on time.
• Respect and cooperate with individuals and assist others in reaching objectives.
• Follow all safety rules/regulations, company procedures and policies.
• Implement work assignments within the most cost effectiveness and manufacturing efficiencies.
• Make recommendations that best fit our process requirements.
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment and work areas.
• Continually strive to learn and improve all processes.

Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS OF POSITION
• High School Diploma or equivalent and/or equivalent work experience

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Assembly line worker job in Arden Hills, MN
Assembly Operators are responsible for the assembly of medical components, subassemblies, products, or systems. Every team member is responsible for maintaining housekeeping and organization of the work area as well as following CathX Medical policies and procedures. This role complies to FDA QSR (21CFR 820), ISO 13485 requirements and adheres to the Quality Management System (QMS).
High School Diploma or equivalent work experience in the medical device industry
Experience - 0-2 years
Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Process and Good Documentation Practice
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
Must have the ability to calculate figures and amounts using basic math (i.e. decimals, addition, subtraction, multiplication and division).
Ability to use measurement tools like microscopes and pin gauges and to compare measurements to documented standards.

Crimps, stakes, screws, bolts, rivets, welds, solders, cements, press fits, or perform similar operations to join or secure parts in place.
Performs intermediate assembly tasks, such as pad printing, adhesive bonding, hot air bonding, balloon bonding, etching wires, swaging shafts, fusing skiving shafts, folding, marking, braiding, coiling, and perform leak testing.
Adjusts and trims materials from components to achieve specified medical or dimensional characteristics.
Performs online go-not-go testing and inspection to ensure parts and assemblies meet production specifications and standards.
Packages finished assemblies or subassemblies in clear plastic bags.
