Loloi Rugs is seeking a qualified, highly motivated Jr. CAD Artist based full-time in Dallas, TX. The ideal candidate will have strong illustration skills, an understanding of color theory, be detail-oriented, and able to manage and prioritize multiple projects at a time.

Responsibilities:
Follow guidance to produce original CAD artwork, incorporating specified color schemes.
Modify existing artwork from licensed partners, factories, purchased artwork, and contributions from senior design team members as needed
With the help of more senior colleagues, familiarize yourself with the limitations and possibilities of various constructions to inform CADs
Participate in weekly product reviews to encourage continuous learning of product and process
Administrative duties such as tracking sample shipments and organizing collection documents
A certain degree of adaptability and willingness to learn on the go is required to be successful in this position
Producing CAD designs for others, gaining insight into the later stages of the development cycles, and actively participating in style out meetings will be part of the role.
Qualifications:
A degree in Textile Design or weaving with a strong passion for area rugs and other soft home items
Demonstrated success with a portfolio of current or prior design work
Excellent visual, verbal, and written communication skills
Must be highly organized and able to manage and prioritize multiple projects at once
Must be detail-oriented and organized
Ability to work autonomously and make strong decisions at times with limited guidance

Bachelor's Degree in Textile Design, Surface Design, or related field

We are seeking talented and enthusiastic candidates for our Summer 2026 Furniture Design Internship Program with Joon Loloi. As a Furniture Design Intern, you will be immersed in the various functions that contribute to the broader scope of our design team. You will gain valuable hands-on experience in every aspect of the furniture design process, from conceptualization and material exploration to technical drawing and presentation. You will gain exposure to various departments and gain an understanding of everything needed to bring products to the market.
Throughout the 10-week program, you will gain an understanding of the Joon Loloi brand, analyze the competition, and work with the Design team to develop concepts. From there, you will design, model, and render several unique pieces. At the culmination of the internship, you will present your designs to several stakeholders for consideration. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to an industry-leading product assortment.

Plan layout of spaces, assist design team to design project, and coord integration of select building systems with project consultants to coordinate interior architect and internal design components.
Use computer-assisted design software and equipment to prepare project design and presentations to communicate design to client, consultants, contractors, and vendors.
Create interior architectural design and technical aspects of architectural interior design, including conceptual idea development, illustrations, 3D docs, scaled models, and renderings to include furnishings, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E).
Modify and refine designs, using working models, to conform to project spec or changes in design based on budget, lead-time, or material constraints.
Conduct research on project technique requirements to include relevant building codes, municipal requirements, and LEED and WELL guidelines.
Review project and implement requirements to ensure design meets legal and client standards. Oversee entry-level architects to develop space plans and material selections.
Review contractor submittals of material samples for conformance to project architect s specs manual and review submittal of shop drawings for millwork, casework, and special architectural features to ensure conformance to construction drawings and built condition.
Maintain project-tracking logs. Act as contractors' point of contact.
Perform on-site surveys to document site conditions, evaluate contractor's work to ensure adherence to construction documents, quality standards, and design intent.
Conduct value engineering measures for building materials and FF&E.
Attend owner's and construction weekly meetings and manage completion of open items to provide architect's support information.
Prepare estimated budgets for construction/fabrication timelines.
Work with Project Architect and Senior Interior Designer to conceptualize interior space design.
Create visual renderings to communicate designs to clients.
Limited national travel to client sites involved, not to exceed 12 days per year or 2 days in a single trip. Little international travel may be involved.
Required Qualifications:
Must have Bachelor s in Architecture or rel field and 6 years rel exp in hotel (guestroom and public areas) design.
Also requires skills (6 yrs exp) in: Design build for hotel renovation and construction administration; Interior Design and planning for hospitality, commercial, multi-family, and residential projects; Luxury hotels, residential design and documentation; Multi-residential design and documentation; Revit; Enscape; AutoCAD; Rhino, Grasshopper, and In-design; Illustrator; Sketchup; Affinity Design software; Design Pages, including FF&E specification software; Newforma software; and MS Office Suite.

**Job Description**
As a Telecom Designer for Olsson on the Data Center team, you will be responsible for working in a collaborative design environment to design low voltage, telecommunications, and audio/visual systems within the built Data Center environment. This will include but is not limited to the following: layout of MDF/IDF/Demarc rooms, horizontal cabling design and specifications, Wireless Access Control, Security and Access Control, Surveillance, audio/visual systems, nurse call, and other low voltage systems. You will specialize in Telecom, Security, Audio/Visual Design and will also help with other electrical design projects as needed.
