I. Position Summary:
Located at Loyola University Chicago's Health Sciences Campus in Maywood, IL, the Director of the Office of Registration and Records (ORR) at the Stritch School of Medicine provides strategic and operational leadership, management, and coordination of daily operations to ensure regulatory compliance, maintenance of student records, and oversight of the registration process. This role oversees a student-centered team, promotes operational excellence through process improvement and technology integration, and collaborates closely with key functional partners including Admissions & Recruitment, Financial Aid, Student Affairs, Educational Affairs, and Alumni Affairs, as well as University offices, such as the University's Office of Registration & Records and the Graduate School.
The Director also coordinates with external partners such as the Edward Hines, Jr. VA Hospital, the Association of American Medical Colleges Student Records System, the National Board of Medical Examiners, and state, national, and federal agencies to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
II. Position Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Strategic Leadership & Compliance
* Provide strategic direction for the Office of Registration and Records aligned with institutional goals.
* Maintaining compliance with institutional policies and regulatory standards, including FERPA, and federal/state regulations.
* Develop, implement, and enforce academic and administrative policies.
* Assessing operations against national best practices in registrar operations and academic recordkeeping to optimize service delivery and resource use.
* Support onboarding and training efforts for staff, faculty, and administrators in academic systems and policies.
Academic Records & Policy Administration
* Serve as the official custodian of student academic records.
* Ensure the integrity, accuracy, confidentiality, and secure access of all educational records.
* Maintain student status and eligibility in various 3rd party data sources, e.g. AAMC Student Records Systems (SRS), National Board of Medical Examiners (NBME), Visiting Student Learning Opportunities (VSLO).
* Provide direction and oversight of key processes such as transcript evaluations, student certifications, attendance record keeping, visiting student records, grade processing and progression, and student orientations.
* Interpret and apply institutional policies related to grading, probation, dismissal, and graduation.
* Collaborate with degree program leadership, student affairs deans, and curricular affairs deans on curricular changes and student enrollment adjustments.
* Maintain the academic catalog in the student information system and ensure accurate course information.
* Manage the conferral of degrees.
Registration, Scheduling, and Enrollment
* Direct all aspects of course registration, course scheduling, and enrollment status changes.
* Coordinate the registration process for each academic term.
Technology & Business Process Optimization

* Serve as the security administrator for registrar-related access to the student information system.

Minimum Education and/or Work Experience

Grounds Maintenance - 65%
* Mow and trim, by hand or on rider, lawns adjacent to buildings, around signs, poles, fences, etc. edge/weed eat sidewalks, flowerbeds, and around signs and poles
* Dig and refill holes in order to transplant trees and shrubs, ornamental grasses, and other miscellaneous vegetation
* Excavate and haul earth away from sites to locate utilities, both indoors and outdoors so the utilities can be repaired
* In some instances, digging a ditch by hand or using an air hammer to remove concrete sidewalks and floors may be required
* Assist Maintenance Equipment Operators, Assistant Grounds Gardeners, and Grounds Gardener in over-seeding and fertilizing all university lawns in the spring and fall
* Remove leaves where it is not feasible for large equipment to do so
* Prepare beds by digging, rototilling, mulching, etc.
* Apply herbicides and other pesticides to flowers, shrubs, and trees. Prune flowers, shrubs, and trees as needed. Spray weeds where needed

Position Summary: This position is responsible for assisting the women's flag football program.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
1. Assist in developing a recruitment strategy for prospective student athletes. Informing prospects of University academic programs, talent evaluation, coordinating mailings, telephone calls, and email exchanges. Maintain department and University standards for communication by actively monitoring on campus and off campus through in person contacts. Work effectively with the department of intercollegiate athletics and office of enrollment services to meet recruitment goals.
2. Assist with day to day duties: Assist in the planning, development, and direction of all team training and conditioning activities in the traditional segment at a level that will place program in a position of competitive leadership in the Northern Athletics Conference. Assist in preparation and implementation of scouting reports, game film, and game preparation.
3. Assist Head Coach in providing academic services for student athletes. Partner with Student Athlete Services to assist students in daily needs and services. Create a "watch" list each term, as well as monitor class attendance and term progress reports. Coordinate with Student Athlete Services to inform faculty of student-athlete absences. Assist with the retention of student athletes through social and academic counseling; interaction with University retention team and coaching staff.
4. Assist with Flag Football operations under the supervision of the Head Coach. This includes managing the overall budget, including the flag football operating budget, recruiting budget, and fundraising budget within the approved policies and procedures of Benedictine University. This will also include coordinating team travel, room reservations (on and off campus), and meals. This includes management, purchase and inventory of team uniforms, equipment and supplies.
5. Provide instruction in technique and safety procedures in adherence with NCAA regulations and Sports Performance expectations in the declared playing and practice seasons.

Who We Are: The Center for Early Learning Funding Equity (CELFE) was established to develop and promote research- and data-informed strategies to transform funding of Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC) programs for children ages 0-5. Housed in Northern Illinois University's Division of Outreach, Engagement, and Regional Development (OERD), CELFE works in collaboration with academic, data, and research partners across the NIU system as well as with external partners.
CELFE began its work focused primarily on Illinois' ECEC system, in which our Director, Theresa Hawley, Ph.D. has spent almost 30 years as a researcher, advocate, and government systems change leader - working to improve ECEC policies with children and families at the center. Now, CELFE is building on that experience and the passion for systems change to focus more deeply on the funding adequacy and equity of the ECEC system. The scope and reach of CELFE is expanding to include all states and municipalities interested in transformation.
CELFE is only in its fourth year and needs to scale up our internal capacity to meet the growing needs of states and clients interested in understanding how to transform their own ECEC systems through an equity lens, with children and families at the center.
