Summary: The Industrial Automation Specialist position is responsible for the growth of sales and customer application pre-sales and post-sales support for a specific group(s) of automation products and services. What You'll Do: * Responsible for developing and implementing the Industrial Control and Smart Components portion of the annual business plan in junction with Rockwell Automation and Rexel Leadership. Responsible for achieving the Smart Components sales goals identified in the annual planning process * Focal point for all communication between Rockwell Automation and Rexel on Intelligent Device Products * Responsible for launching new Industrial Control and Smart Components Products to Rexel sales personnel. This includes product training, competency with demo equipment, and target account identification with sales personnel * Actively promote Industrial Control and Smart Components participation on local trade shows, customer seminars and other local Rexel promotions to increase customer awareness of Rockwell Automation capabilities * Ensure the general sales force (inside and outside) has a base level of Industrial Control and Smart Components expertise necessary to support daily sales activity.
