The RN Hospice Nurse ensures quality and safe delivery of hospice nursing services to patients in the home or assisted living setting.
Our Hospice Nurses work to develop, implement and evaluate the plan of care and make necessary revisions to address all problems in the plan of care. They provide coordination of the plan of care, maintaining continuity of client care with other health professionals while identifying interdisciplinary care needs and making recommendations for additional home health care services.
Hospice Nurses supervise the client care rendered by Licensed Practical Nurses and Home Health Aides in the provision of delegated duties and conduct supervisory visits per regulatory guidelines.
Hospice Nurses provide education, supervision and counseling to the client and their family regarding home nursing procedures and other care needs as appropriate to client's needs. They assure that the client and their family are involved in the development of the plan of care whenever possible.

Attend all breastfeeding meetings, trainings, and curriculums, as assigned.

The Assistant Coach supports the Head Coach in all sport-related duties. This role is responsible for supporting the men's basketball programs in alignment with College, departmental, conference NESCAC, and NCAA Division III standards and policies.
General Duties and Responsibilities
● Assist in conducting a program that aligns with the mission and philosophy of Connecticut College, the department, NESCAC, and NCAA Division III.
● Prepare student-athletes for competition by planning for and conducting a regular schedule of fitness training, sport skill practices, scouting and competitions within NESCAC and NCAA regulations.
● Conduct oneself with the highest ethical and moral standards in regard to behavior on campus and in relationships with student-athletes and members of the campus community.
● Plan and execute dynamic warm-ups and cool-downs, practices, and competitive events.
● Maintain the highest ethical and professional standards in interactions with student-athletes and the campus community.
● Ensure a safe environment for all practices, competitions, and team travel.
● Comply with all applicable rules and policies (College, department, NESCAC, NCAA).
● Support fundraising initiatives by engaging alumni and parents.
● Monitor and support student-athlete's overall well-being.
● Assist with individual meetings with student-athletes for performance and development.
● Maintain strong relationships with team alumni and families.
● Must be able to work evenings and weekends during the season and for recruitment.
● Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record and be able to drive a 15-passenger vehicle.

Preferred Qualifications Physical Demands
* Stand, walk, run, and demonstrate basketball movements such as dribbling, shooting, passing, and defensive positioning for extended periods of time.
* Physically demonstrate sport-specific techniques and drills.
* Lift, carry, and move athletic equipment (e.g., basketballs, training aids, gear) weighing up to 50 pounds.
* Bend, stoop, reach, and kneel as needed to set up equipment or assist student-athletes during practices or games.
* Work in both indoor gymnasium environments and occasionally outdoors for conditioning or related activities.
* Maintain the ability to communicate effectively and project voice across a large, noisy gym or during team practices and games.
