**Job Summary**
Battelle is seeking a highly qualified and proactive **Executive Assistant** to support our Senior Vice President for Government Business Development. The position will be located in our **Crystal City, VA** office.
**Responsibilities**
+ Represent the office of Battelle Government Business Development with utmost professionalism to coordinate and schedule senior level government customer engagements, to ensure thoughtful, efficient, and productive meetings.
+ Proactively manage, schedule, and prioritize calendar of the Senior Vice President for Government Business Development, including government customer meetings, Battelle leadership meetings, industry partners meetings, team meetings, and meetings requiring travel.
+ Proactively manage, schedule, and prioritize travel of the Senior Vice President for Government Business Development. Requires minimum of travel clarity two-months in advance, travel booking (air, hotel, transport), and rapid expense report reconciliation.
+ Manage client visits confirmed by the Senior Vice President for Government Business Development, including securing conference rooms, arranging catering, registering visitors, creating agendas, preparing meeting materials, and communicating with the clients.
+ Maintain Government Business Development business rhythm calendar and actions for - pipeline reviews, staff meetings, all-hands, 1:1s, and similar.
+ Coordinate and manage the Government Business Development Gate Review Calendar. Gate Reviews are milestones of maturity for business development opportunities. Gate Review Calendar coordination and management requires clear organization of when the review needs to happen and who needs to be there. Also includes responsibility for SharePoint administration of Gate Review request portal; logging Gate Review participants; advancing approved opportunities in Microsoft Dynamics (CRM tool); and professionally communicating with the offices of the CEO and President of Battelle.
+ Process purchase payments for consultants, memberships, subscriptions, equipment, training, and supplies. Requires experience with corporate purchasing systems to create payment requests, identify and apply appropriate charge code, process payments for invoices, and reconcile payments. This includes responsibility for the departments credit card, or Purchase Card (P-Card).
+ Coordinate and communicate with Battelle Executive and Administrative Assistants for senior leadership meetings and business rhythm needs/deadlines.
+ Maintain absolute confidentiality and need-to-know approach daily. Requires knowledge of how/when to decipher sensitive information, experience not sharing information unless advised, and deep/broad knowledge of company practices, policies, procedures, and programs.
+ Act as a coordinator of departmental projects, following up on pending details, coordinating project team activities, and ensuring deadlines are met.
+ Answer email, phone calls, and inquiries independently, routing correspondence to the appropriate person when necessary.
+ Compose, prepare, edit, and proofread letters, reports, and other correspondence.
**Key Qualifications**
+ Associates degree in a related field required, bachelor's degree in business administration, communication, or related field preferred.
+ 7 years of related experience, preferably in an administrative role.
+ Excellent oral and written communication skills.
+ Advanced word-processing and personal computer skills, including proficiency in commonly used Microsoft Office applications including but not limited to Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint, Teams and ability to become proficient in Dynamics (CRM tool).
+ Ability to work with travel systems, namely Concur, to make travel arrangements and complete expense reports.

**Job Summary**
The Health Research and Analytics (HRA) business line is seeking a highly motivated, full-time **Human Performance Advisor (HPA)** to join our team in support of our government customer, U.S. Special Operations Command. This position will play a critical role in advancing the Preservation of the Forces and Family (POTFF) program, which is dedicated to optimizing and sustaining the mission readiness, longevity, and performance of Special Operations Forces (SOF). Through integrated and holistic human performance initiatives, POTFF strengthens both the Forces and their families, ensuring comprehensive support for those who serve. As an HPA, you will contribute to impactful research and analytics that drive evidence-based decision-making and enhance the effectiveness of these vital programs. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of SOF personnel and their families while working in a dynamic, mission-driven environment.
This position serves as the primary technical expert and coordinator for the Human Performance (HP) program supporting SOF personnel in locations or units without a HP Manager or Coordinator. The HPA is responsible for planning, developing, and overseeing all aspects of HP services, including training, readiness enhancement, equipment management, data collection, and documentation, while providing ongoing feedback and recommendations to program leadership and chain of command. Additionally, this role collaborates with interdisciplinary teams, manages HP staff training and travel, develops training materials, and ensures compliance with USSOCOM HQ and POTFF requirements through effective use of technology and enterprise-wide databases.
**Responsibilities**
+ Functions as the coordinating technical expert for the Human Performance program in locations or within units/groups where an HP program Manager and/or Coordinator is/are not available
+ If required, assist the HP Manager (Government representative) in the performance of their duties
+ Perform the following services POTFF's HP program for SOF personnel, with priority on SOF Operators and Direct Combat Support personnel:
+ Plan, develop and synchronize technical training, guidance, and programmatic and policy recommendations
+ Secure, protect, and enhance the readiness of all operators across the range of military operations
+ Design, implement, document, and provide direct daily oversight of all human performance services utilizing a demonstrably methodical approach for the required level of peak performance and reconditioning of all SOF operators, while providing ongoing, objective feedback to the HP lead, POTFF lead, and chain of command
+ Perform an inventory of Human Performance supplies and resources, assist in preparing equipment and supply requisitions to replenishing exhausted supplies, acquire preventive maintenance for Human Performance equipment, and present new and emerging equipment for purchase consideration
+ Oversee and advise on the training and travel of HP staff under his/her purview
+ Develop and promulgate training materials as requested and required by the HP program Manager, Coordinator, and/or location-specific, senior POTFF staff member
+ Collect and report all data as requested by the HP program Manager and/or Coordinator and required by USSOCOM HQ and POTFF staff
+ Document work performed, utilization, referrals, and all other information in the HP Enterprise-wide database, i.e., SPEAR, as directed by HP program Manager and/or Coordinator and required by USSOCOM HQ and POTFF staff
+ Attend, participate in, and promote interdisciplinary meetings with POTFF staff, medical staff, and chain of command
+ Utilize computers, software, and technologies as required and requested by the HP program Manager and/or Coordinator, USSOCOM HQ and POTFF staff
**Key Qualifications**
+ Master's degree in an accredited exercise science, health science, or physical education-related discipline
+ Current certification as one of the following: Certified Athletic Trainer, Strength and Conditioning Specialist, Senior Strength and Conditioning Specialist, Physical Therapist, Cognitive Performance Specialist, or Performance Dietitian
+ At least five years of demonstrable accumulated experience (continuous and sustained experience preferred) of developing long and short-range planning and coordination of sport- and/or mission-specific performance programs resulting in attributable results with individual athletes and groups of athletes at the levels of NCAA Collegiate, Olympic, professional sports, and/or SOF Operators in the accompanying, respective settings
+ Specialized experience conducting long and short-range planning and coordination of new functional training and nutrition programs, a history of positive attributable results from HPA work and relevant work experience in a collegiate and/or professional level athletic environment
+ Experience conducting multi-domain programming such as lecture, multi-media and practical hands-on training related to strength, conditioning, performance nutrition, and team dynamics
+ Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance

Qualifications:
Education, Knowledge, and Experience

At least 10 years of direct experience working within a state education agency on district and school improvement, state systems of support, or the use of evidence to inform educational strategies.

**Job Summary**
A senior level nuclear engineer with an operational background is needed to develop program policy, procedural, and internal controls documentation in support of implementing microreactor technology (reactors rated below 20 megawatts electric (MWe)). Noting the development and testing of the DoD "Project Pele" demonstration program, the Army is considering follow-on deployment of microreactor technology. This microreactor technology leverages recent advances in designs to provide a transportable electric power system producing between 1-10 MW of electricity for expeditionary support and 24/7 installation power for mission critical loads.
The advanced microreactor program is managed under the DoD Strategic Capabilities Office (SCO). The Assistant Secretary of the Army for Infrastructure, Energy and Environment (ASA IE&E), in partnership with the US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Office of the Chief of Engineers (OCE), is responsible for the Army Nuclear Power Management Program and is ramping up to meet a wide range of installation, operational, engineering, logistic regulatory certification and permitting requirements for future implementation of microreactor technology in accordance with Army Regulation 50-7 "Army Reactor Program" consistent with recently issued Executive Order (EO) 14304: Deploying Advanced Nuclear Reactor Technologies for National Security.
Program plan documentation preparation requires leveraging and integration of information and knowledge from participating government organizations within DoD, U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC), and other Federal and State agencies, and Army agencies involved in implementing nuclear energy technology. The primary deliverable for this position is the development of well-formed, 3D urban-relevant models that are effective for operational applications and exhibit smart reduction techniques, enabling sharing in low-bandwidth environments. **Responsibilities**
+ Responsible for comprehensive and effective coordination, development, and evaluation of programs and services that contribute directly and positively to resiliency of the assigned unit's force and families
+ Organize and oversee peer support networks for their assigned commands
+ Recruit active-duty and family member peer support counselors
+ Ensure participating peer support counselors are vetted and trained according to USSOCOM CPPNC standards
+ Responsible for collecting and reporting data for the purposes of formative and outcome evaluations of peer support programs and other community-based support programs
+ Collect original data and data from secondary sources in support of program assessments, including, focus group and/or unit meetings convened by leadership, POTFF Family Resilience Program evaluation results, trend information from POTFF Psychologist, Chaplains, Ombudsmen, or Family Readiness Group (FRG) staff
+ Support commands at multiple levels and in multiple locations
+ Identify and document program/service needs and evaluation data
+ Develop needs-based programming to service specific demographic groups and geographic locations
+ Maintain an extensive knowledge of DoD resources, such as the Military OneSource, Military Family Life Counselors (MFLC), Personal Financial Counselors (PFC), and Military Crisis Line
+ Lead and/or assist in the coordination and/or development of official processes, functions and networking opportunities for subpopulation served
+ Establish, maintain, and report activity of peer counseling networks for supported unit's Service members and family member spouses

**Key Qualifications**

**Responsibilities**
+ Provide evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation of musculoskeletal conditions
+ Evaluate and treat patients with or without referrals as licensed independent practitioners, credentialed as direct care providers in specific military HP settings
+ Refer patients to other POTFF staff members as needed
+ Provide and perform the following services in support of POTFF's HP program for SOF personnel, with priority on SOF Operators and Direct Combat Support personnel:
+ Provide musculoskeletal injury care, utilizing approved supplemental clinical privileges including the ordering of imaging studies, laboratory tests, basic pharmaceuticals, and referrals to specialty providers, with consistent, appropriate, and required documentation

**Key Qualifications**
+ Master's degree in physical therapy
+ Certification through the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties (ABPTS) as an Orthopedic Certified Specialist (OCS) or Sports Certified Specialist (SCS), or certification through the National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA) as a certified athletic trainer (ATC)
+ At least five years or more of demonstrable, accumulated experience (continuous and sustained experience preferred) of performing manual therapy in the sports medicine field with individual athletes and groups of athletes (experience at the levels of NCAA Division I, Olympic, professional, and/or SOF Operators preferred) in the accompanying, respective settings
+ Current, full, active, and unrestricted license as a Physical Therapist in any U.S. State, the District of Columbia, Guam, Puerto Rico or U.S. Virgin Islands
+ Maintain credentialing requirements in good standing at the local MTF
+ Capability of meeting the physical demands of selection and training events including the ability to hike over rough terrain, work long irregular hours with disruption in sleep cycles, and function in austere environments
+ Ability to assist with strength and conditioning testing and training protocols and lift and manipulate loads or weights up to 25 kilograms
+ Current certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) from the American Heart Association, with documentation provided

This position will play a critical role in advancing the Preservation of the Forces and Family (POTFF) program, which is dedicated to optimizing and sustaining the mission readiness, longevity, and performance of Special Operations Forces (SOF). As a Clinical Psychologist, you will contribute to impactful research and analytics that drive evidence-based decision-making and enhance the effectiveness of these vital programs. This position is responsible for conducting psychological evaluations, using clinical interviews and psychological testing, and establishing psychiatric diagnoses according to the DSM. Additionally, the Clinical Psychologist will provide psychological treatment for individuals and groups, including supporting patients coping with medical conditions and assisting in rehabilitation.
**Responsibilities**
+ Conduct psychological evaluations utilizing information from clinical interviews, psychological testing, and collateral sources
+ Establish psychiatric diagnoses according to the American Psychiatric Association Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Disorders including providing psychological treatment for individuals and groups, helping medical and surgical patients deal with illnesses or injuries, and assisting in rehabilitation of patients
+ Practice within the guidelines of their state licensing board, American Psychological Association Ethical Principles and Code of Conduct, and MTF privileges
**Key Qualifications**
+ Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) from an American Psychology Association accredited college or university with a doctoral degree in clinical or counseling psychology
