The Division of Medical Physics at Baylor Scott and White Health, Department of Radiation Oncology is seeking a full time either MS, DMP or PhD (all three will be considered for one position) therapeutic medical physicist in Radiation Therapy to join our team and to support clinical operations in the Baylor Scott and White Medical Center - Temple, Texas. This position will be joining 3 PhD-level physicists and 5 MS-level physicists covering 4 clinics in Central Texas: Temple, Killeen, Waco, and College Station. This position will be a clinical position working full time hybrid remote/on-site at the Temple and Killeen clinics but will be expected to cover other clinics in central Texas if needed. Among the four clinics, there is 5 Varian TrueBeam linear accelerators, 2 Varian Varisource, 1 Elekta Flexitron and 5 CT simulators.
The successful candidate will be responsible for physics support in the clinic and work with other members of the radiation oncology team to provide highest level of clinical service. Primary responsibility for this position includes, but not limited to.
* Performs, evaluates, and manages regularly scheduled quality assurance testing of treatment related machines and/or systems (linear accelerator, brachytherapy, computed tomography, and radiation treatment planning system).
* Performs and supervises any radiation treatment that requires a therapeutic medical physicist to be present.

JOB SUMMARY

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking an additional, fellowship trained, BC/BE Cardiac Electrophysiologist to join the Section of Cardiac Electrophysiology and Pacing at our Central Texas Division. Our Electrophysiology team covers the fast-growing population of Temple, Round Rock, Lakeway, Killeen and Waco. Six board certified electrophysiologists and five advanced practice providers cover five hospitals and several outpatient clinics in the region as a team.
Duties include inpatient and outpatient consultation, follow up, device implants, catheter-based ablation in several locations in a rotating schedule. Additional duties include teaching for cardiology fellows and working closely with Cardiology Subspecialties and Cardio-Thoracic surgery.
Device implantation and catheter ablation is currently available in several facilities with three electrophysiology laboratories and a Stereotaxis Robotic Navigation system in Temple.
**Qualifications**
- Board certified in cardiovascular disease with additional fellowship training and board certification/eligible in EP Cardiology.
- Experience in cardiac rhythm device implantation and catheter-based ablation

Masters prepared specialty anesthesiologist assistant working under the direction of a licensed anesthesiologist. Administers anesthesia protocols to patients and follows-up on after care. The supervising Anesthesiologist shall, at all times, be responsible for the activities of the Anesthesiologist Assistant.
Limited to select locations based on unique workplace dynamics.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE ROLE
Administers anesthesia under the medical direction of an anesthesiologist. Administers the prescribed anesthetic with particular care to the cardiovascular, respiratory and metabolic health of the patient. Utilizes advanced treatment modalities to effect section 1.1 responsibilities , including but not limited to, advanced airway interventions and intubation of the trachea; starting and adjusting doses of vasoactive infusions; administering vasoactive and anesthetic drugs; administering blood; and any other treatment modalities which are prescribed by the supervising anesthesiologist.
Consults with supervising anesthesiologist for the induction of anesthesia, for extubation of the trachea, unexpected or adverse perioperative events or at any time the prescribed anesthetic deviates significantly from its expected course.
Establishes a comprehensive patient database (by chart/medical record review and patient examination and interview) to assist in anesthetic planning. Orders appropriate pre-op evaluations and pre-medications after consultation with the anesthesiologist, who is then responsible for these orders. Develops a patient focused culture that promotes the BEST Patient Care.
Initiates multi-parameter monitoring prior to anesthesia or in other acute care settings. Modalities include, but are not limited to, ASA Standard Monitors, arterial and venous catheters. Accurately manipulates and interprets data from central venous, pulmonary artery and intracranial catheters and other monitors or devices that are indicated.
Assists in the post-operative management of patients. Manages post-op ventilator support and acute pain management in conjunction with existing protocols or the attending anesthesiologist.
