    Job Responsibilities: The Lead Youth Treatment Specialist provides two essential roles within the Youth Crisis Stabilization Program. The first role is being responsible for direct care, nurturing and supervision of the residents. This includes providing supervision of the youth placed in the program. Provide group educational activities, recreational activities, follow up individually with youth, serve as a mentor and role model for youth. Essential Functions: Youth Treatment Specialist Duties: Serve as a treatment specialist in the milieu supporting therapeutic interactions by coaching skill use throughout activities, modeling appropriate behavior, teaching, and reinforcing use and generalization of skills through a token economy system. Use evidence based best practices for youth with mental health, substance use and life needs. This includes Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), trauma informed care, motivational interviewing, youth centered and culturally reverent approaches while celebrating youth's development and identity. Use motivation and engagement strategies to encourage youth involved in systems such as court services and Department of Children and Families to participate in treatment programming and involvement in program activities. LSS Recovery Center Oconomowoc provides up to 30 beds for adult women in need of Medically Monitored Treatment and Transitional Residential Treatment. Services are gender specific and trauma informed. The facility does allow for infants up to age 3 months to reside with their mothers who are receiving SUD treatment services. Under direction of program and clinical supervisor, performs core functions of a licensed addictions counselor and/or AODA/Correctional Case Manager. This is a full-time, benefit eligible role with hours on Monday-Friday from 8 AM - 5 PM. The Behavior Specialist is responsible for conducting Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with patients within Rogers Behavioral Health treatment programs as detailed. Behavior specialists train and work with the assigned clinical leader to design and implement CBT specific treatment plans to address presenting symptoms. Job Duties & Responsibilities: Provide cognitive behavioral and other therapeutic services including groups to patients, according to clinical standards of care and under the supervision of the Clinical leader. Participate in weekly supervision sessions with the Clinical leader and communicate with them on an ongoing basis regarding clinical issues. Assure documentation of therapeutic treatment plans, outcome assessments, psychosocial information, and other patient care data is completed within the medical record. Additional documentation may be completed under close supervision of the Clinical leader within SUD programs. Participate in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings and assist in development of the treatment . Offer training support to other staff members less familiar with the cognitive treatment interventions. Document mental health services according to applicable regulations and payer expectations. Complete all relevant training as directed within timeline established by leadership. Perform other duties as assigned. This position works in a therapeutic milieu environment serving youth at a State Certified Youth Crisis Stabilization Facility (YCSF) serving male, female and gender non-conforming youth, ages 8-17, supporting youth through a mental health crisis that has resulted in a youth needing a safe space to reside for up to 30 days. The Youth Treatment Specialist 3rd shift works overnight ensuring all youth and staff are safe and following nighttime procedures. This can include tasks such as completing bed checks, monitoring youth on suicide protocol, following sleep hygiene and bedwetting protocols, waking youth, and coaching them to complete activities of daily living, administering medication teaching skills. Other tasks such as completing building tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and inventory, preparing meals, putting together educational materials, and other programming material to prepare for the days schedule. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Perform third shift room checks verifying the status of each youth, ensuring youth are asleep, not distressed and are safe. Follow clinical recommendations for safety such as supervising suicide protocols and safety plans. Serve as a positive role model and work alongside a Lead Youth Treatment Specialist in the milieu supporting therapeutic interactions by coaching skill use throughout morning activities, modeling appropriate behavior, teaching, and reinforcing use and generalization of skills through a token economy system. Use evidence-based best practices for youth with mental health, substance use and life needs. This includes Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), trauma informed care, motivational interviewing, youth centered, and culturally reverent approaches while celebrating youth's development and identity.
