ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Develop and implement Behavior Support Plans (BSPs) targeting replacement behaviors and reducing problem behaviors using empirically supported interventions.

Maintain effective communication and professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including state officials, support coordinators, families, and colleagues.
Adhere to all professional and ethical standards set forth by the BACB.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Current BCBA certification in good standing with the BACB.
Must obtain Tennessee licensure and status as an approved DDA Behavior Services Provider prior to hire.

Specific Responsibilities:

Lead the staff in periodic reviews of treatment and transition-planning progress with each member, in accordance with policy and procedures
In collaboration with Senior Leadership, the IDD Services Director, and program director, develop programming to support people in gaining the skills (e.g., social, leisure, pre- employment, problem-solving) to transition to less restrictive levels of care upon transition
Provide guidance in helping staff to gain RBT certification as well as ongoing supervision for those maintaining the RBT certification.
