The Role: Behavioral Technician (BT) The Behavioral Technician (BT) provides direct behavioral support services to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) in Makom's clinic-based setting. Under the supervision of a licensed clinician or Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), the BT implements individualized behavior support plans, promotes skill development, and supports individuals in achieving meaningful personal, social, and behavioral goals. This role is ideal for individuals who are patient, observant, and committed to delivering evidence-based, trauma-informed, and person-centered behavioral care. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The Behavioral Technician plays a critical role in supporting individuals' growth, safety, and well-being. Essential responsibilities include: Behavioral Support & Skill Development Implement individualized behavior intervention and support plans as designed by clinical supervisors. Provide 1:1 and small-group behavioral support within a clinic environment. Support individuals with communication skills, emotional regulation, coping strategies, and daily living skills. Utilize positive behavior supports and trauma-informed approaches at all times. Data Collection & Documentation Collect accurate data on behavior, skill acquisition, and individual progress.
