What You'll Do:
The Registered BehaviorTechnician (RBT) is responsible for direct client care and provide high-quality early intervention services with support and direction from Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs).
Provides Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) therapy to clients in an outpatient clinic setting, home-based or school/community setting.
Implements Individualized Treatment Plans (ITPs) under the direction of the behavior analysts/consultants.
Facilitates and assist in the development and identification of resources and support information for patients and their families.
Provides detailed daily treatment notes in EMR system to ensure appropriate billing of services provided.
Discusses appropriate referrals for additional patient services, as needed, with BCBA.
Completes all documentation and supervisory requirements as required by state board for RBT.
Proactively communicates and collaborates effectively with fellow Registered BehaviorTechnicians, BCBAs, families, and additional team members to support the needs of the client.
Participates in therapy meetings as scheduled.
Attends CEU trainings as needed to maintain professional license requirements.
Complies with federal, state, and local certification requirements.
Other duties as assigned by management.

A BehaviorTechnician works 1:1 with children with an Autism diagnosis in the child's homes and in our clinic. They implement ABA programs and Behavior Intervention Plans directed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)/Case Manager. All therapists are supervised by the BCBA/Case Manager on a weekly basis. They are responsible for collecting and recording data based on observable client behavior. An ABA therapist implements services based on the principles of Verbal Behavior and Applied Behavior Analysis to children 2-12. They receive and implement feedback in a professional manner.
Responsible for delivering care for children served by RUSH Kids Pediatric Therapy based on the principals of Applies Behavior Analysis. The Registered BehaviorTechnician (RBT) will work under the supervision of the BCBA and provide direct services to individuals with Autism. Training is provided.
Work Schedule: Full Time Monday- Friday no weekends needed.

Responsibilities
* Review Policies & Procedures manual on a yearly basis and adheres to the policies and procedures set forth as well as any updates.
* Complete and maintain all Corporate & Clinical Services required trainings and maintain compliance with state/local/federal regulations.
* Provide direct treatment and document for patients for whom ABA is medically necessary.
* Maintain ongoing documentation in which goals, progress toward functional goals, and medical necessity are clearly stated.
* Complete all required documentation legibly or electronically, appropriately and in a timely fashion in order to meet facility, physician and payer deadlines.
* Maintain open and respectful communication with co-workers, physicians, patients, family members, and third party payers at all times.
* Attend and/or participate in facility meetings as directed by Center Manager (may include utilization review, infection control, disaster preparedness, etc.)
* Utilize time efficiently and effectively to meet productivity requirements of the facility.
* Participate in and present clinical in-services.
* Maintain current awareness of general changes in the healthcare field and specific issues impacting the practice of ABA.
* Subject to limitations imposed by state/local/federal law.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Participate in the development and positive implementation of individual's plans.
2. Facilitate consistent implementation of the Behavior Support Plan (BSP) and Individual Specific Training (IST); implementing behavioral procedures as outlined to teach replacement skills and reduction of problematic behaviors through prevention and intervention while utilizing positive behavioral supports.
3. Respond to emergency situations as trained utilizing all aspects of the Mandatory Training.
4. Implement relational Mandatory training continuously to ensure a positive, engaged and therapeutic environment.
5. Implement Technical Mandatory training only when safety is compromised (ex: physical aggression, dangerous self-injurious behavior and dangerous property destruction) per training and only as needed.
6. Assist persons supported in exploring interests and hobbies of their choice that can connect them to their community.
7. Engage individuals in preferred in home activities continuously. This requires staff to be attentive to individuals and the environment at all times. Staff should not sit when clients are present. Staff should be engaging in activities or supervision at all times. In down time, the house should be cleaned and paperwork should be completed. Once all work is completed, staff should remain alert and know individual's whereabouts per the individual's routine.
8. Provide transportation, utilizing VOA agency vehicles, to persons supported for daily activities.
9. Serve as a mentor to persons supported and provide on-going coaching and encouragement.
10. Teach meaningful daily living skills that increase independence, recreation, and socialization in the life of the individuals we support.
11. Advocate for the needs, interests, and support of the person in your care.
12. Complete all required documentation, including but not limited to, daily support notes, charting, behavior data collection, etc.
13. Attend and be an active participant in scheduled meetings and trainings.
14. Provide communication regarding individual, home, or work related needs to supervisor/nurse/Behavior Consultant (BC) in a timely manner.
15. Assist with personal care as required. Individuals should be clean, presentable and in clothing that is appropriate.
16. Pass medications per physician's orders, as trained by VOA nurse, and notify the supervisor of any medication issues or medication errors.

Work Environment

Requirements Key Responsibilities:
Conduct intake assessments, psychosocial evaluations, and treatment planning
Provide individual, group, and family therapy to clients with substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders
Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans
Maintain timely, complete, and compliant clinical documentation (per HIPAA, CARF, and state guidelines)
Provide clinical supervision (if licensed as LCSW-S or LPCC-S)
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members and participate in weekly case reviews
Assist with crisis intervention, safety planning, and referrals
Support client graduation ceremonies and outreach events
Participate in ongoing training and professional development
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related behavioral health field
Current and active LCSW-S or LPCC-S license in the state of Kentucky (required)
Supervisory credentials and experience preferred
Minimum 1 year of experience in addiction recovery, behavioral health, or residential/inpatient setting (preferred)
Strong skills in clinical assessment, therapeutic intervention, and crisis management
Ability to maintain boundaries and uphold ethical standards of practice
Must possess valid driver's license and reliable transportation
