GENERAL FUNCTION: We are seeking a dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join a licensed provider of behavioral and developmental support services in the Mid-South. The organization delivers supported living, day services, professional support services, and other individualized supports for persons with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities, in alignment with Individual Support Plans (ISPs) and Medicaid waiver requirements. Services are delivered under strict adherence to state regulations and ethical guidelines. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: The RBT will play a critical role in implementing Behavior Support Plans (BSPs) under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Responsibilities Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Provide direct one-on-one therapy to individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) Collect and record data on client progress and behavior Assist with the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans Conduct functional behavior assessments and assist in the development of behavior support plans Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team (SLP, OT, PT) to ensure consistent and effective treatment Qualifications Requirements High school diploma or equivalent (required) Bachelor's degree in psychology (preferred) Experience working with individuals with ASD or other developmental disabilities (preferred) Strong interpersonal skills Effectively communicate with clients, families, and team members Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain accurate records Must be able to bend/squat and run at short burst up to 300 feet. Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen Must obtain RBT 40 hour training certification prior to scheduled start date (trainings are provided to you at least 2 weeks before your scheduled start date) This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals with autism spectrum disorder.
