Overview
Under general supervision, is responsible for professional social counseling work and/or service coordination of average difficulty; and performs related work as required. This is the working class in the professional Social Counselor sub series. An employee in this class interviews and provides social counseling for clients in programs such as adult protective services and maternal and child health counseling, as well as individuals with disabilities in an educational, social service, or medical setting. This class is flexibly staffed with and differs from that of the Social Counselor 1 in that an incumbent of the latter learns the proper principles, practices, and procedures for social counseling work in various programs. This class differs from the Social Counselor Supervisor in that incumbents of the latter are responsible for supervisory social counseling work.

GENERAL FUNCTION: We are seeking a dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join a licensed provider of behavioral and developmental support services in the Mid-South. The organization delivers supported living, day services, professional support services, and other individualized supports for persons with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities, in alignment with Individual Support Plans (ISPs) and Medicaid waiver requirements. Services are delivered under strict adherence to state regulations and ethical guidelines.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
The RBT will play a critical role in implementing Behavior Support Plans (BSPs) under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Key responsibilities include:
1. Procedural Integrity:
Conduct regular procedural integrity checks to ensure accurate and consistent BSP implementation.
Monitor intervention fidelity in alignment with BACB standards.
2. Program Implementation:
Provide ongoing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to individuals.
Implement BSP protocols developed by the supervising BCBA.
Model correct BSP implementation and data collection for staff.
3. Data Collection & Analysis:
Evaluate accuracy and reliability of staff data collection.
Perform timely data entry and graphing, consistent with ABA standards.
Observe behaviors and consult with the BCBA for plan updates when necessary.

8. Billing & Documentation:
Accurately document all services provided and support timely billing.
Maintain organized, compliant records for the organization and regulatory bodies.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Qualifications
A day in the life:
Conduct 1:1 ABA therapy sessions with early learners and young adults with Autism through teaching sessions in the home or community setting.
Implement behavioral intervention and individualized treatment plans for children between the ages of 2 and 21.
Participate in BCBA trainings, team meetings, client observations and parent training as needed.
Maintain open and direct communication with the BCBA and other RBT team members as needed relating to the delivery of treatment to our pediatric patients.
Receive Supervision from your BCBA at a minimum of 10% of services provided.
Maintain professional boundaries around our child patients and their families as indicated by the BACB.
Enter data and all trials utilized daily for each pediatric patient for all programs targeted.
Remain available for all supervision sessions, phone conferences, and team meetings required by the BCBA.
Other duties as assigned.

We are seeking passionate, dedicated, and reliable Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT) to join our team. As an RBT, you will play a crucial role in providing one-on-one therapy to individuals diagnosed with autism or other developmental disorders under the ongoing supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). RBTs are responsible for implementing behavior intervention plans (BIP) and collecting data to monitor and ensure the best possible client outcomes.

Provided RBT Training Courses and Reimbursed Exam Fees- RBT training can be expensive, so Lighthouse Kids has you covered. All RBT courses are purchased and provided to you at no cost to you. Additionally, Lighthouse Kids will reimburse your RBT application fee and your first RBT exam fee.
