MOD Behavior ABA is currently seeking qualified, dedicated and compassionate professionals to provide in-home Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) services to children, youth, and young adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder or other developmental disabilities who are in need of assistance to reduce challenging behaviors.
Behavior technicians are responsible for assisting Board-Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to implement behavior plans through in-home direct intervention. They will assist clients with day-to-day activities, monitor their behavior, record and collect data on clients' progress, and communicate with clients. Other duties may include clerical and administrative duties.
What You'll Do:
Provide behavior intervention services to individuals diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other developmental disorders in the home, school, and in the community
Implement behavior intervention and skill acquisition plans created by and under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
Collect and record data
Complete accurate treatment notes in a timely manner
Strictly follow BACB guidelines and codes of conduct
Attend team meetings
Motivate and encourage clients and staff

Overview of the Position:
This position provides 1:1 and group behavioral intervention services to children and adults diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other developmental disorders.
The interventions are individualized to meet the unique needs of each client. Areas of focus include communication, daily living, play, social and vocational skills as well as personal hygiene.
THE RBT works as part of a transdisciplinary team with typical duties to include:
+ Assist with intakes and assessments and parent/caregiver training related to client's individualized treatment plan
+ Provide direct client care in individual and group settings
+ Implement programs according to behavior plan
+ As assigned, assist with training and onboarding new RBT's and/or weekly scheduling of ABA clients

+ Maintain client confidentiality; attend trainings and staff meetings

A Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is a paraprofessional certified in behavior analysis. RBTs assist in delivering behavior analysis services and practice under the direction and close supervision of a qualified BCBA Supervisor, who are responsible for all work RBTs perform. RBT certification was originally designed for settings in which a BCBA is already providing behavior analysis services.
Responsibilities
Assisting BCBAs as directed with behavior reduction assessments and skill acquisition plans.
Communicating behavioral intervention results in students' parents and caregivers.
Provide 1:1 ABA therapy in home, center, and community-based environments
Implement individualized treatment plans developed by BCBAs
Collect data to monitor the progress and effectiveness of the individualized treatment plan.
Provide regular written and verbal progress updates on treatment goals.
Support the BCBA with training families on implementing individualized treatment plans.
Participate in team meetings and training workshops.
Ensure that the client is in a safe and positive environment at all times.
Follows the policies and procedures of Look Up Therapy, LLC.
Nurtures students' social skills.
Job Requirements
Receive ongoing supervision that meets the RBT supervision, supervisor, and documentation requirements
Background check completed no more than 180 days prior to the start date
Adhere to the RBT Ethics Code and Self-reporting Requirements
Complete an RBT renewal application every year, including an RBT Renewal Competency Assessment and fees, to maintain your certification
High School Diploma or GED required. Some College preferred.
Effective oral and written communication skills
Ability to occasionally lift 10 to 50 pounds
Physically able to complete behavioral intervention and block maladaptive behaviors (as needed).
