**The Opportunity**
**Black & Veatch is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join a well-established and expanding water/wastewater team in Northern California.**
The Sr. Project Manager will be responsible for leading our State and Local Government and Water business with clients in Northern California. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing client and pursuit strategies, relationship management, leading business development activities, overall business financial management, contract management, and ensuring client satisfaction. The Client Director is accountable for meeting new business and earnings financial goals; development of strong relationships with clients, teaming partners and contractors; driving business development; and selling the Black &Veatch full suite of services.

**Key Responsibilities**
+ Prepare and implement Client Development Plans for assigned clients
+ Develop and maintain strong relationships with assigned clients, business partners, and competitors
+ Develop client and pursuit strategies
+ Lead or support proposal development
+ Make Go / No Go decisions or recommendations and assist with preparation of Proposal Review Board documents

**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's Degree in Business Management or a related field
+ Prefer 10+ years professional experience managing a multi-disciplinary team to deliver new business for water and wastewater utility and state and local government projects
+ Previous consulting experience
+ Proficiency with computer software, including MS Office Suite and Project Software
+ Experience preparing proposals; negotiating and managing contracts; managing project budgets, costs and accounts receivables
+ Experience with planning, delegation, directing others and conflict management
+ Experience dealing with ambiguity and building effective teams
**Client Focus:**
+ Assist with identification of key client interests and drivers on complex projects

**Preferred Qualifications**
- Experience with technical and thought leadership surrounding water and wastewater infrastructure systems.
- Experience in a client-facing role.
- 11+ years of infrastructure assessment experience including hydraulic modeling, master planning, and data analysis. Experience or familiarity with asset management and condition assessment is a plus.
- Experience leading technical tasks and project teams and executing water distribution and wastewater collection system studies and assessments that involve system operations modeling, optimization techniques, risk & resiliency evaluations, capital and life-cycle cost analyses, CIP prioritization.
- Proficient with data analyses, analytics, and visualization
- Proficient with report writing and PowerPoint presentations.
- Experience in developing proposals and leading technical discussions during client interviews/projects.
- Experience and/or familiarity with Geographic Information System (GIS) technology and software (i.e., ArcGIS)

Pay Range
$80,000 to $190,000 annually. Range varies dependent upon hiring level. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employee's pay within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.

JOB SUMMARY
This role supports the California High-Speed Rail project by performing forensic delay analyses, schedule evaluations, and claims assessments. Working within the Risk Management Office, this role helps ensure schedule integrity, identifies risks, and contributes to resolving time-related disputes.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform detailed forensic delay analyses, develop delay causation narratives, and produce summary reports identifying delay responsibility and impacts
Analyze contractor-submitted time impact analyses (TIAs) and schedule-related claims to assess validity and quantify time extension requests
Collaborate with regional Authority staff, Project Construction Managers (PCMs), and consultants in schedule planning, development, and maintenance for CHSR projects
Provide schedule development and ongoing schedule maintenance, including updates to schedule data, duration adjustments, and documentation of schedule basis and assumptions
Evaluate critical path, longest path, and near-critical activities; provide insight into the project's ability to meet schedule milestones
Develop and maintain what-if schedules and scenario analyses to support forecasting and risk mitigation strategies
Assist in the development of rebuttal documentation and participate in claims review meetings to support dispute resolution
Identify schedule risks and contribute to risk assessments, including evaluation of environmental, utility, and seasonal constraints impacting construction timelines

The Project Construction Manager is responsible for the quality control of all PGL construction projects undertaken.
This position is also responsible for the direction and the proper field supervision of projects during the construction phase.
The Project Construction Manager will generally work from the office and go to project sites as needed.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Particular responsibilities may vary by project; however, they essentially include:
- Provides overall Administrative and Technical direction for projects. May direct several different size projects independently or through subordinate Construction Managers.

Primary Function:

This role will be responsible for developing detailed and accurate cost estimates as part of the Project Controls & Project Financial Office for the California High-Speed Rail Program. JOB SUMMARY
Under the general direction of the Chief of Project Controls, the Performance Management Lead is responsible for management of the Authority's Capital Baseline, including both the funded and unfunded portions of the program. The incumbent is a senior manager within the Program Performance and Risk Management Branch and works in partnership with the leads over Cost, Schedule, and Risk Units to effectively collate, monitor, and report performance against the baseline. to ensure overall performance is on track and provide the Project Controls Office with forward looking assessments of trends. * Monitors changes against Capital Baseline on the projects under execution. Develops dashboards for executive reporting and provides analytical insights on variances of actuals versus Baseline plan.
* Maintains records of month-on-month movements in scope, EAC and schedule.
* Responsible for integration of the baseline across functions and branches
* Manages the development, maintenance and implementation of the Authority's Program WBS and WBS dictionary.
* Drives performance improvement and optimizations by continually reviewing the existing baseline processes, structures and data.
* Develops, maintains and enhances Authority processes and procedures related to program performance monitoring and control.
* Collaborates with the other Authority business units to support value engineering, cost mitigation and opportunity realization.

Job Summary
AECOM is seeking an Engineering Manager - Maintenance Facility, for one of our offices in Sacramento, CA. This role will lead planning and engineering for Heavy and Light Maintenance Facilities and service yards. Develops facility plans aligned with rolling stock, systems, and long-term operations strategies.
Job Responsibilities
* Lead and oversee the engineering design, planning, and integration of Heavy and Light Maintenance Facilities and associated servicing yards.
* Provide subject matter expertise (SME) in maintenance operations and facility design, ensuring alignment with overall program and operational goals.
* Coordinate closely with rolling stock, systems, and civil engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of facilities with train operations and maintenance functions.
* Develop and manage facility design criteria, technical standards, and O&M requirements in coordination with program stakeholders.
* Review and approve design deliverables, specifications, and design changes to ensure compliance with applicable standards, codes, and regulations.
* Serve as the primary technical liaison for facility-related engineering issues with contractors, consultants, and regulatory agencies.
* Oversee the technical evaluation of proposals, designs, and construction documentation related to maintenance facilities.
* Contribute to the development of long-term maintenance and operations strategies, including life-cycle cost analysis, staffing plans, and asset management considerations.
* Ensure adherence to all relevant FRA, state, and local regulations as well as program safety, quality, and environmental standards.
* Provide leadership and mentorship to technical staff, fostering collaboration and professional development across multidisciplinary teams.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
* BA/BS + 10 years of relevant or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education, including 2 years of leadership
Preferred Qualifications
* Master's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related discipline.
* 20+ years of progressively responsible experience in rail maintenance facility design, engineering, and operations.
* Demonstrated experience in high-speed rail, intercity passenger rail, or commuter rail maintenance environments.
* Proven track record managing complex, multi-disciplinary engineering programs or large-scale infrastructure projects.
* In-depth knowledge of rail vehicle servicing practices, maintenance facility systems, and yard operations.
* Strong familiarity with Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) regulations, California state safety and environmental standards, and industry best practices.
* Exceptional leadership, communication, and coordination skills across diverse stakeholder groups
* Experience working on large-scale, publicly funded infrastructure or rail programs (e.g., state or federal agencies).
* Experience in systems integration, commissioning, or O&M planning for high-speed or intercity rail.
* Familiarity with sustainability and resiliency design principles for maintenance facilities.
* Experience managing or coordinating with design-build or public-private partnership (P3) delivery models.
* Professional Engineer (PE) or similar.
* Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.

**The Opportunity**
We are looking for a Civil Engineer with strong technical skills in civil engineering to lead hydraulic structures projects for our hydropower clients in the Northwest, West Coast and Southwest regions. In this position you will manage and mentor junior staff and develop an execution team capable of delivering a diverse variety of multi-discipline design projects.
