Your role may also require fieldwork such as conducting site visits, observing construction activities, collecting samples, analyzing water quality data, evaluating technologies and plant operations, troubleshooting processes, and optimizing operations. Additionally, you will be responsible for conducting condition assessments and overall performance evaluations of water/wastewater/stormwater facilities. Strong communication skills (both oral and written) are essential in this role as you will be working closely with staff and clients. You will also need to demonstrate client-facing skills including preparing and delivering effective presentations, participating in client meetings, and interacting with clients and subcontractors in the field.
In addition to the responsibilities mentioned above, you will also be accountable for:
Ability to work on multiple, unique assignments simultaneously, as well as strong organizational, analytical and problem solving skills.
Self-motivated, team-oriented and flexible individual must possess the initiative and ability to take on new projects and other challenges regularly.
Exercise judgment on details of work and in making preliminary selections and adaptations of engineering alternatives.
Qualifications & Experience:

Pursuing a degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or closely related field.
