Assist team on actions plans in order to improve outcomes using knowledge of all appropriate service and business metrics. Assist in the execution of all company initiatives and programs. Complete required training program and accompanying exams. Follow all company, state and federal policies, laws and regulations, including HIPAA and Pseudoephedrine sales. Finalize sales using cash register according to established procedures, including the point of sale policies. Transcribe data from prescriptions accurately in order to generate a custom label for the customer. Assist with maintaining proper inventory levels by ordering, receiving, stocking and rotating drugs and other supplies per company policy and procedure. Answer telephone in a polite and timely manner, ensure accurate information is exchanged and the customer is satisfied. Resolve customer questions and concerns by communicating effectively with the customer and the management team and support staff in an efficient manner. File written prescriptions daily.

The Pharmacy Refill Technician will provide integrated support to pharmacy staff and Shields Health Solutions Liaisons by providing a 'hands-on" approach to ensuring accurate and timely filling and delivery of specialty medications. This role will work closely with health system pharmacy staff and Shields liaisons by emphasizing accurate workflows and leveraging technology to support optimal patient care and efficient operations. Individual will be responsible for placing outbound calls to patients and assisting them through the entire refill process as well as receiving inbound pharmacy phone calls. Job Duties: * Always show kindness and compassion while providing knowledgeable and courteous assistance to patients, providers and pharmacy team members. * Make assigned outbound patient refill phone calls and complete the patient refill requests in a timely manner. * Answer, resolve and triage inbound inquiries appropriately. * Clarify prescription orders with pharmacist and/or clinician as appropriate. * Proactively coordinate medication refills including data entry and ensuring correct days supply is entered for all fills. * Following through with claim adjudication and troubleshooting and reject codes. * Partnering with pharmacy to ensure proper in-stock of medications. * Identify medications requiring special storage and/or handling such as hazardous medications and/or refrigerated medication. * Identify supplies necessary for select medications such sharps containers, needles/syringes, alcohol swabs, Band-Aids. * Properly discontinuing patients off service when appropriate. * Documenting work appropriately across all systems. * Manage, organize, and update relevant data using database applications. * Other duties that facilitate patient access to medications as assigned * Apply observations and recommendations to operational issues, increased productivity, quality, and customer-service standards. * Identify trends, resolve problems, recommend improvements, implement change. * Actively participate in process improvement initiatives. * Act as a value-added business partner to stakeholders throughout the organization. * Protect organization's value by keeping information confidential. * Maintain updated knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining networks; participating in professional organizations. Experience/ Education: * Required Licensure/Certification: We are seeking experienced pharmacy technicians who are state registered as a pharmacy technician. Nationally certified as a CPhT or equivalent is strongly preferred but not required. Should additional licensure need to be obtained, the applicant will commit to obtaining the required licensure within a mutually agreed upon timeframe. Continued employment is contingent upon meeting these requirements. * Years of Experience: Required: 1+ years, Preferred: 5-8 years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician. Job Title: Pharmacy Floor Technician We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Floor Technician to support the preparation, packaging, and verification of prescription medications. This full‑time role consists of five 8‑hour shifts per week, including weekdays and every other weekend, with a rotating two‑week schedule. This position offers the opportunity to work in a fast‑paced environment that plays a vital role in patient care. Primary Responsibilities * Accurately and efficiently fill daily medication orders under pharmacist supervision. * Assist with processing returned medications, ensuring proper recycling or disposal according to procedure. * Prepack commonly used medications, label them, and store appropriately during slower workflow periods. * Manually package materials and products as needed. * Pull and pick medications from shelves and storage areas. * Apply labels to blister cards and scan products to ensure accuracy. * Notify the on‑duty pharmacist of any medication or product that does not scan correctly. * Maintain clean, organized workstation areas and restock supplies as needed. * Follow all applicable regulations, including HIPAA. * Work overtime, holidays, and weekends when required. * Adhere to departmental safety, attendance, and dress code standards. * Perform additional duties as assigned.
