Supervisory Responsibilities None Major Duties & Responsibilities: Job Skills Is calm, collected, professional, friendly, and helpful with all phone and walk-in requests from patients. Answers telephone in a timely manner, following organizational and departmental policy. Assist customers by answering simple non-medical questions, filling prescriptions, checking out previously approved prescriptions or referring them to the pharmacists for medication information. Receive written prescriptions or electronic fill requests and verify that information is complete and accurate. Use the information to enter a prescription for filling. Fill prescription using the premade labels to determine which medication is needed. Fill prescriptions bottles with the correctly counted prescribed medications and affix correct premade labels for the pharmacist to verify. Complete owes from previous day. Operate cash register to accept payment from customers. Inventory management, which includes, but is not limited to: ordering, restocking, entering order, updating inventory counts, maintaining par levels, verifying expiration dates and removing at risk medications. Maintains proper storage and security conditions for drugs. Manufacturer patient assistance programs which includes, but is not limited to: assisting patients with completing applications, complete provider section for provider signature, faxing completed applications through Athena, stock ordered medication in patient specific bag, identifying when patients need reorders, and maintaining and refrigerating medication stock for minimum supply level and expiration dates. Cleaning, which includes, but is not limited to: cleaning bathroom and lobby, removing trash cans at end of day, maintaining shred bins, sweeping & mopping floors, dusting shelves, and wiping downs counters. Operations management which includes but is not limited to: stocking and maintaining labels, vials, caps, bags and cleaning supplies and delegating tasks to students Conduct return to stock weekly by pulling scripts and letting patients know on Wednesday or Thursday and reversing them on Monday. Any clinic related task delegated by pharmacist at Christ Health is considered part of this job description. Each employee of CHC is vital to providing overall quality care to our patients and may be included in the patient care team and daily huddle when deemed necessary by the Core Care Team.     Job Description The Quality Technician ensures that all compounded products are manufactured in accordance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and also meet all internal specifications. This position is responsible for performing a number of manual and automated quality assurance checks on in-process products and finished goods. This position is responsible for working collaboratively with other personnel in the Quality Department to ensure the highest quality product is delivered to the consumer. Job Activities and Responsibilities: Collect and send samples of compounded sterile preparations (CSPs) for sterility, potency, and endotoxin testing. Conduct environmental monitoring (e.g., air and surface sampling) in cleanrooms to ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Perform visual inspection of finished drug products. Maintain incubation schedules of environmental monitoring sample plates and document results in associated reports and batch records. Maintain accurate and thorough records of all testing and inspections. Ensure all documentation complies with FDA 503B regulations, USP standards, and internal SOPs. Review batch records and verify that all procedures were followed correctly. Assist in internal and external audits to ensure compliance with FDA regulations, USP , USP, and other applicable guidelines. Work closely with the Quality Assurance (QA) team to implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs) when non-conformities are identified. Maintain effective communication and partnership with Operations Management department. Participate in root cause analysis to find the sources of defects or quality problems. Ensure that all QC laboratory equipment is properly calibrated and maintained according to the manufacturer's specifications. Conduct internal audits and gap analysis of processes, systems, and procedures. Assist with external, regulatory inspections. Maintain quality records (equipment calibration and maintenance, training, deviation and noncompliance investigations, environmental monitoring, Certificate of Analysis, clean room certification etc.). Technicians should play a role in embracing CSTDs for preparation of anticancer medications, including involvement in the evaluation process and familiarity with regulatory standards. Technicians shall be fully trained in the storage, handling, and disposal of hazardous drugs per employer, state, and national guidelines; this training shall occur before preparing or handling hazardous preparations and the effectiveness of the training should be verified by testing specific techniques. All training should be documented, and competency should be reassessed and documented at least every 12 months. Technicians should be trained on hazardous drug exposure and spill control, including treatment of individuals accidentally exposed to hazardous medications and on the disposal of hazardous medications. Candidate must be flexible to work different days, hours and schedules based on business needs. **_Responsibilities in this role_** Under the immediate direction of a qualified licensed Staff Pharmacist, you will be trained to draw, dispense, and package radiopharmaceuticals in accordance with the regulations of the State Board of Pharmacy.
