Job Description:
We are looking for a Front Desk Coordinator who will play a key role in providing excellent customer service and administrative support to our patients and staff. The Front Desk Coordinator will greet patients, manage patient registration, verify insurance, collect payments, and ensure smooth patient flow through accurate data entry into our EMR system.
This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM, and one evening shift per week from 11:30 AM-8:00 PM.
Responsibilities:
Greet patients warmly and provide superior customer service.
Assist patients with registration processes and address any inquiries.
Enter and update patient information accurately in the EMR system.
Confirm active insurance coverage and verify eligibility.
Collect co-pays and outstanding balances from patients.
Schedule follow-up appointments and manage appointment calendars.
Complete daily reconciliation of charges, fee tickets, and payment methods.
Handle phone calls and inquiries professionally and efficiently.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (required).
Valid driver's license required for potential travel to other offices.
Previous experience in orthopedics or a healthcare setting preferred.
Proficiency in medical terminology and EMR systems.
Strong communication skills and customer service orientation.
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
Knowledge of insurance plans, including worker's compensation.
Solid math skills for handling payments and reconciliations.

The ideal candidate will be flexible, reliable, and experienced in both diagnostic imaging and clinical support. This position requires availability for evening and Saturday shifts.

The X-ray tech is responsible for operating radiologic equipment to take clinical diagnostic X-rays as directed by physicians. You will be performing routine diagnostic procedures. As with all staff, we expect professional decorum, desire to succeed, love of the specialty and working with patients, as well as the personality to engage patients and make them feel comfortable. The radiologic technologist must display interpersonal skills required for exercising judgment and discretion when dealing with all colleagues, patients, and physicians.

Job Description
X-Ray Technologist / Full-Time Schedule: 32-40 hours over 4 days per week
Orthopedic Surgical Partners is a growing orthopedic practice with multiple locations across Rocky Hill, Manchester, Avon, and Willimantic. We are seeking a dedicated Radiologic Technologist who also has experience as a Medical Assistant, or is willing and able to assist with medical assistant duties as needed. This full-time position offers a consistent 4-day workweek, giving you an extra day off each week, along with an 8-week rotating Saturday shift.
Position Summary:
The X-Ray Technologist is responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures in accordance with physician orders and established protocols. You may also assist with medical assistant duties, including rooming patients, taking vitals, and supporting clinical staff when needed.
You will play a key role in patient care and experience-bringing professionalism, compassion, and teamwork into every patient encounter. Our ideal candidate is adaptable, personable, and committed to contributing to a supportive and high-functioning clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate radiologic equipment to perform diagnostic X-rays as directed by providers
Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with imaging standards
Assist with back-office medical assistant tasks as needed (rooming patients, vitals, documentation, etc.)
Communicate effectively with physicians, staff, and patients

Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification required
Current Radiologic Technologist license in applicable state
Prior experience in a clinical or orthopedic setting is preferred
Medical Assistant experience or willingness to cross-train is strongly desired
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
