    Job Description Orthopedic Surgical Partners with multiple locations is seeking a Per Diem Radiologic Technologist who can also assist with medical assisting duties as needed. The ideal candidate will be flexible, reliable, and experienced in both diagnostic imaging and clinical support. This position requires availability for evening and Saturday shifts. Join our dedicated orthopedic team and help provide exceptional patient care across our growing network of clinics. The X-ray tech is responsible for operating radiologic equipment to take clinical diagnostic X-rays as directed by physicians. You will be performing routine diagnostic procedures. Our X-ray technologist establishes and maintains excellent working relationships with colleagues, and physicians. As with all staff, we expect professional decorum, desire to succeed, love of the specialty and working with patients, as well as the personality to engage patients and make them feel comfortable. You should have a team-share work ethic with a desire to be of service to anyone who needs it in your department and outside of it. The radiologic technologist must display interpersonal skills required for exercising judgment and discretion when dealing with all colleagues, patients, and physicians. In this role, you will work closely with our physicians and physician assistants to provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced clinical environment. Key Responsibilities: Patient Intake: Efficiently room patients, collect detailed medical histories, medications, and chief complaints, and accurately input information into the Electronic Health Record (EHR). Chart Preparation: Gather prior medical records, review office notes, radiology reports, health history, and medications to ensure comprehensive patient charts. Clinical Support: Assist in preparing patients for examination and procedures, including undressing wounds and assisting with setup for treatment. Orthopedic Support: Fit patients with orthopedic braces and ensure proper documentation is completed for billing purposes. Surgical Coordination: Schedule surgeries, manage medical clearances, ensure radiology images and prior authorizations are obtained before surgery dates. Referral Management: Process physician referrals by sending and receiving health information, incorporating it into patient medical records as necessary. Qualifications: A minimum of 1 year of clinical medical experience. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required. Flexibility to work occasional evening and weekend shifts at our walk-in centers.
