The ULM Crew Chief serves as the field supervisor responsible for directing, performing, and coordinating daily water distribution and wastewater collection maintenance activities. Works alongside their team while overseeing safety, quality control, documentation, and communication with internal and external stakeholders. They ensure that work is completed in compliance with City standards and regulatory requirements. Crew Chiefs are expected to demonstrate expert-level technical knowledge in both water and wastewater systems, lead field operations, and coordinate crew activities without direct daily oversight. Licenses and Certifications: Must currently possess a valid Texas Class A Commercial Driver's license AND "N" (Tanker) endorsement; Must currently possess a Class C Water (Distribution) license from the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ); Must currently possess a Wastewater Collections I license from TCEQ; Must obtain a Wastewater Collections II license from TCEQ within 12 months of hire; Preference may be given to applicants who already possess both a Class C Water license and a Wastewater Collection II License at time of hire.
