What You'll Do:
As a Facilities Cleaner, you'll play an important role in ensuring that our dealership looks its best every day. Responsibilities include:
Daily cleaning of showroom, offices, restrooms, service areas, and customer lounges
Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and trash removal
Cleaning glass doors, showroom windows, and entryways
Restocking paper products and cleaning supplies
Keeping the lot entrances and sidewalks neat and safe
Reporting any maintenance needs or safety concerns
What We're Looking For:
Previous cleaning/janitorial experience is a plus, but not required
Strong work ethic and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and follow a consistent routine
Punctual, reliable, and trustworthy
Physically able to lift up to 25 lbs and be on your feet for most of your shift
Driver license and clean driving record

POSITION TITLE: Custodian
QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma or Accredited GED
REPORTS TO: Head Custodian/Principal
JOB GOAL:
1. Demonstrate aptitude for successful fulfillment of assigned performance
responsibilities.
2. Must be able to perform heavy physical labor such as lifting garbage bags
that weigh 50 pounds.
3. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find
appropriate and acceptable.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

2. Cleans and maintains all boilers and other major equipment.
3. Supervises and participates in necessary painting and general repairs to
plumbing, electrical, carpentry and general mechanical areas.

7. Assists in snow removal.

school building.

11. Assumes responsibility for the general safety of the building.
12. Makes building repairs that he/she is capable of.
13. Reports immediately to the principal any damage of school property.
14. Assumes responsibility for the opening and closing of the building each
school day and for determining, before leaving, that all doors and windows are secured, and all lights, except those left on for safety reasons, are turned off.
15. Keeps an inventory of supplies, equipment, and fuel on hand, and requisition
such needed replacements from the principal far enough in advance so that
they may be delivered in such time as will not hinder the custodian in his duties.
16. Conducts an on-going program of general maintenance, upkeep and repair.
17. Performs emergency repair or cleaning services as necessary.
18. Completes all tasks in shortest possible time.
19. Performs other duties that may be assigned.
