Position Summary: Installing and maintaining features in designated terrain park areas. Installation of park signage and fencing, maintaining signage and fencing, keeping work areas clean and organized, and power tool experience. Applicants must be able to snowboard or ski and be willing to test features at an appropriate skill level. Applicants must be able to lift 75lbs individually. Essential Duties: General Responsibilities Feature maintenance, including shaping rail takeoffs, maintenance of the surrounding areas of features, replacing top sheets for boxes, replacing side skirting on features, grinding burs off metal features, snow removal from parks and work areas, inspections of features daily, event set up and break down, signage/fencing install and maintenance. Must be able to lift 75lbs. Must be proficient in snowboarding or skiing. Must have own skis/board/boots. Ability to operate surface lift, ensuring safe loading and unloading of passengers. Ability to scan park passes, RFID cards, ensuring that all participants are eligible for park access. Conduct daily safety and maintenance checks of parks and any associated lifts. Complete required park and lift logs documenting features, work, safety checks, and other information. Report injuries to ski patrol and assist as needed. Complete post-incident reporting of injuries and feature closure/opening. Keep all work areas, including the area of assigned terrain, clean and free of trash and debris. License/Certification Required Essential Job Functions If employee is assigned to work in a designated security sensitive area, employee is required to undergo an extensive background check under the administration of the ASU Police Department and complete a Security Awareness Training as required. Floor Maintenance which consists, at a minimum, of daily sweeping, wet mopping, periodic spray-buffing and high speed burnishing, scheduled stripping and refinishing of resilient floors. Restroom Sanitation which consists of, at a minimum, daily sweeping, mopping, cleaning mirrors, spot cleaning walls and stall partitions, applying disinfectant cleaners.
