To forward samples to appropriate labs when tests are ordered that are not in this facility. Keep accurate records on all patient test results and all quality control. Provide periodic preventive maintenance on all laboratory equipment, instruments, etc. To insure that the laboratory is neat, clean, and in efficient running order at all times and to provide a safe working environment. To keep abreast of recent technical developments in lab medicine and acquire 14 hours of continuing education per year. To generally assist and cooperate with the laboratory supervisor in providing the best possible functioning of the laboratory and in turning out reliable and cost effective work.
