The Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) performs clinical laboratory tests by standard operating policies and procedures. Understands method principles, performs quality control & calibrations, performs preventive maintenance, and analyzes results as to accuracy, acceptability and critical limits. Perform specimen processing duties when necessary. Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly fashion. Put away supplies upon receipt. Keep biohazard trash at an acceptable level.
