The Clinical Pharmacy Specialist will serve as the lead clinical pharmacist within their area of specialty. They actively participate in governance, teaching, education, and monitoring efforts. Stay current on pharmaceutical developments, emerging therapies, and changes in pharmacy regulations. Qualifications Active and unrestricted Connecticut Pharmacist License. Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an accredited college of pharmacy. Current CPR/BLS certification (as applicable). Minimum 1-2 years of pharmacy experience preferred (retail, hospital, or clinical). Strong understanding of Connecticut Pharmacy Practice Act and federal drug regulations. Proficiency with pharmacy management systems and electronic health records (EHR). Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. High level of accuracy, integrity, and professionalism. Must be available a minimum of 3 days per week; flexibility for evenings, weekends, or holidays preferred.
