Commercial line assistants assist in rating, evaluating, and processing business applications, quotes, endorsements, and renewals. These assistants gather information and decide the risk acceptability of these proposals within their limits of authority. To be excellent in their jobs, they improve their company or agency's relations, improve the quality of the proposals submitted to them, and stimulate profitable production by making periodic agency visits.
