The Loan Agent will work directly with Lenders to process loans and requests. The Loan Agent role will assist Lenders in all stages of the lending process, application to post-closing. Loan Agents are part of and supervised by Loan Administration and will work for Loan Administration while assisting lenders daily. The purpose of the Agent position is to help lenders move the loan from application to processing, to closing, in a timely manner while assisting Loan Administration in the process of processing/ uploading to post-closing. This is all to ensure a high customer confidence in closing a loan in a timely manner while providing the Disney of Banking experience.

Essential Functions
Enters basic loan application information to Lending Operating System.
Collects Customer financial information and input into correct processing software
Performs Uniform Commercial Code (UCC) and federal tax lien searches as needed
Uploads Secretary of State Documents, Operating Agreements, etc. for applicable business entities
Processes and mail denied/withdrawn loan applications
Processes Credit Card charges for loan fees
Executes construction draw documentation and release funds on approval of lender
May be required to complete construction draw inspections with detained inspection description from lender
Uploads construction Draws to Web Director and maintains the Advances Missing Docs log in the Loan Portal
Works with loan processing to order appraisals, title work, homeowner's insurance and any loan conditions.
Communicates with insurance agents, realtors, homeowner's association representatives as needed
Prints and review closing packages and review for closing
Confirm collateral, terms (length, rate, LTV, borrowers), covenants (accounts, financial statements, etc.), match approval certificate.
Stacks Loan File
Attends loan closing and prepares all post-documentation for filing (mortgage, title, UCC, notice to buyers)
Scans all documents and prepares files for loan administration processing
Notarizes documents as needed
Fills out and submits loan maintenance forms when loan addendums are needed
Familiar with Tran Codes and Loan GL Accounts
TMS/loan ticket creation
Sends Wires
Orders mortgage release documents if needed
Reviews mortgage releases and sign off
Assists the lender in maintaining excellent communication with customers regarding status of loan applications and process
Keeps Outlook calendar updated with closings, appointments, and Loan Officer vacations
Attends Loan & Loan Agent meetings and other committees
Communicates potential top 100 customers to leadership based on financial review and new upcoming loans
Helps to develop and educate newer staff members as needed
Allow employees from other departments to shadow day to day activities as requested

Education
High School Diploma or GED required; college preferred
2 year's experience in banking preferred
