Kim brings with him more than 35 years of experience in a wide range of areas covering Legal & Commercial, M&A, Sales & Marketing as well as Business Development in the telecommunications industry , primarily in Europe and Asia Pacific. Prior to joining CommVerge, Kim was Senior Executive Vice President and MD, Greater China and Korea for Marconi Communications, with principal responsibility for all sales and marketing activities in North Asia. Prior to re-joining Marconi in 1999, he served Fujitsu UK as General Counsel of one of its major business divisions and was later promoted to be the Director of Legal and Commercial Affairs for the EMEA region. Prior to being appointed MD for North Asia, Kim was the Director of Legal and Commercial Affairs for Marconi in the Asia Pacific region as well as the Senior Executive Vice President of the Enterprise Division in Marconi. Kim joined CommVerge Solutions in April 2003 as its General Counsel and was appointed its Chief Operating Officer & General Counsel in July 2007. Kim is a Barrister-at-Law by qualification. He was accorded an Order of Merit in 1979 by the Council of Legal Education in London. He was admitted to the Bar of England and Wales in 1980 and to the Malaysian Bar in 1981.
