Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Intermediate Bridge CAD Designer to join our team! In this role you will support bridge Design projects by preparing high quality CAD drawings for new bridges, rehabilitations and transportation structure improvements.
Specific Responsibilities:
* Utilizes AutoCAD or MicroStation to prepare bridge engineering drawings consisting of standard arrangements, layouts, flow sheets, etc., from rough sketches and/or from general engineering and design information according to established standards and procedures.
* Maintain drawing standards, file organization, templates, project documentation.
* Works closely with other Designer/Drafters and Engineers to ensure a coordinated design.

Create detailed drawings through extensive use of AutoCAD
Create material listings for projects
Perform Hydraulic Calculations
Work with other departments within the company to hand over proper job information.
Maintain organized records, including but not limited to tracking of submittals, change orders, and permits.
Must have:
Minimum 3 years of experience as a Commercial Fire Sprinkler Designer
Proficiency in AutoCAD
Experience with Bluebeam
Ability to perform hydraulic calculations
Strong communication, multi-tasking, and problem-solving skills
