**Job Description**
Join Olsson's South Facilities Engineering and Design team and contribute to projects that matter-healthcare facilities, data centers, and commercial spaces. In this role, you'll apply your technical expertise to develop HVAC and plumbing system designs that meet code requirements, achieve energy performance goals, and support project-specific needs.
This position is suited for an experienced designer who values collaboration and takes pride in delivering accurate, well-coordinated mechanical systems.
Primary Responsibilities:
+ Prepare detailed mechanical system layouts, plans, and sections using Revit and other design tools.
+ Work closely with engineers to develop coordinated HVAC, plumbing, and specialty system designs.
+ Review and maintain accuracy of design drawings and construction documentation.
+ Contribute to drafting standards and best practices.
+ Support multidisciplinary coordination, clash detection, and project delivery timelines.
+ Mentor junior design staff and provide technical guidance.
+ Assist with documentation and submittals, including specifications.
