Salary Transparency Statement
At Ramboll, your base pay is only part of your overall total compensation package. At the time of this posting, this role is likely to be compensated at an annual rate between $95,000 - $115,000. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating accurate technical drawings and plans for Plumbing Trade. You will work closely with team leader, Project Managers, and site personnel to ensure that all drawings comply with project specifications and industry standards.
Job Description:
Prepare detailed 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD MEP, and other relevant software.
Draft Plumbing shop drawings, sections, and elevations based on sketches, field notes, and design data.
Revise and update drawings as per client or engineer feedback.
Coordinate with PM and construction teams to gather and interpret project data.
Maintain an organized filing system of drawings and documentation for easy access and revision tracking.
Ensure drawings comply with local codes, standards, and project specifications.
Perform quantity take-offs and basic estimations if required.
Assist in preparing as-built drawings post project completion.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Drafting, or related field from an accredited university desired. HS Diploma required.
5 years of experience as a Draftsman in a construction environment.
Proficiency in AutoCAD MEP, Revit , and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong understanding of construction processes and materials.
Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent written and verbal skills.
