Job Summary
As a Scaffold CAD Designer, your primary responsibility will be to design and draft scaffold structures using computer -aided design (CAD) software. You will work closely our sales team to create scaffolding solutions that meet project requirements, safety standards, regulations and customer needs.
Key Responsibilities:
CAD Design: Utilize CAD software to develop detailed drawings and plans for scaffold structures based on project specifications, site measurements, and safety requirements.
Collaboration: Work closely with our sales team to develop scaffold designs that align with project needs.
Safety Compliance: Ensure that all scaffold designs comply with relevant safety regulations, codes, and standards. Consider factors such as load capacities, wind loads, and fall protection to create safe and stable structures.
Material Selection: Assist in selecting appropriate scaffold materials based on project requirements, budget constraints, and structural considerations. Optimize material usage to maximize efficiency and cost -effectiveness.
Modification and Optimization: Review and revise scaffold designs as needed to accommodate changes in project scope, site conditions, or client preferences. Optimize designs for efficiency, stability, and ease of assembly.
Documentation: Prepare and maintain accurate documentation of scaffold designs, including drawings, specifications, and material lists. Ensure that documentation is comprehensive and up -to -date throughout the project lifecycle.
Communication: Communicate effectively with project stakeholders to present design proposals, discuss technical aspects, and address any concerns or feedback. Provide clear and concise explanations of design decisions and rationales.
Problem Solving: Identify and resolve design challenges and technical issues that may arise during the design process. Collaborate with team members to develop creative solutions that meet project objectives
Requirements
AS in Engineering, Construction or Drafting and Design is required.
Proficiency in CAD software, such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar programs.
Strong understanding of scaffold design principles, construction techniques, and safety regulations preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Detail -oriented with the ability to produce accurate and high -quality drawings.
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
Prior experience in scaffold design or construction is preferred but not required.
