Job Overview

Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced Implant Designer to join our implant department. The ideal candidate is a skilled 3Shape designer capable of handling a wide variety of implant-related cases with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities:

Ensure implant case requirements are accurately executed
Review doctor prescriptions and clinical case notes

Aegis is partnered with growing automation and machinery manufacturer in Lake Forest, IL that is looking for a CAD Detailer / Drafter to support highly customized equipment builds in the food processing and packaging space. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys turning concepts into clean, production-ready drawings and wants exposure to real machines being built on the floor.
You'll work closely with engineering and the shop, finalizing drawings, managing BOMs, and helping move designs from concept into production. The environment is hands-on, collaborative, and focused on developing talent long-term.
What you'll be doing:
Prepare and finalize machine and part drawings using SolidWorks
Review drawings for accuracy, completeness, and manufacturability
Create and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs)
Release drawings into ERP to support production
Act as a bridge between engineering and the shop floor
Support assembly by answering questions and making drawing revisions

1-3+ years of CAD/drafting or detailing experience
Strong SolidWorks proficiency
Experience with parts or assemblies made in a machine shop or fabrication environment

Computer aided design designer job in Escondido, CA
The BIM Drafter participates, as directed by the supervisor, in any drafting efforts for 3D coordination and shop drawings for educational, institutional, and commercial projects. The ideal BIM Drafter should be self-driven, resourceful and detail oriented to manage a high level of quality and service. Organizational skills, flexibility and critical thinking are necessary traits.
Responsibilities
Produces 3D electrical drawings for field installation and coordination with other sub-contractor trades.
Produces shop drawings, cross-sections of underground, conduits and cables, as required for instructions to fabrication and installation crew.
Performs verification and preparation of layout drawings to meet contract requirements.
Reads architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical floor plans, section and elevations.
Perform technical drafting support for assigned projects according to established standards and procedures.
Prepare electrical drawings using AutoCAD or Revit software from verbal or written specifications from BIM Detailer.
Review work to ensure accuracy and make corrections to work from red lines.
Qualifications
Associates or bachelor's degree in ComputerAided Drafting or equivalent drafting experience is preferred.
Solid working knowledge of Autodesk software; Fluency in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks and AutoCAD MEP is preferred.
Working knowledge of MS Office.
Strong interpersonal skills.
