Customer Support Specialist
Flora 3.9
New York, NY job
We build creative tools for the new creative class-an intelligent canvas where the best AI models enable professional craft. We're a team of ~20 who recently closed our Series A, backed by investors like Hanabi Capital, Menlo Ventures, Justin Kan, and Gabe Whaley (founder of MSCHF). Our customers include Pentagram, Lionsgate, and Nike.
We're looking for a Founding Customer Support Specialist who will build FLORA's support function from the ground up-with AI as a force multiplier.
As our first dedicated support hire, you'll own the entire customer experience across inbound channels-from billing questions to technical troubleshooting. But you won't do it alone. You'll leverage AI tools like Claude to draft playbooks, synthesize feedback, and move faster than a traditional support team. You'll configure and optimize AI agents like Intercom's Fin to handle common questions at scale, freeing you to focus on the complex, high-touch interactions that matter most.
You'll develop the systems that let one person operate like a team of five. You'll work directly with our Head of Product and Engineering to escalate bugs, surface patterns, and close the loop between what users experience and what we build. And you'll become the internal voice of the customer-turning ticket themes into product insights.
This isn't a ticket-clearing role. You'll shape how FLORA shows up when customers need help-building the processes, documentation, and AI-augmented workflows that define our support culture.
We're looking for people who have
2+ years in customer support or success, ideally at a B2B SaaS or creative tool company
Demonstrated AI fluency-you actively use tools like Claude, ChatGPT, or Copilot to accelerate your work (drafting responses, building documentation, analyzing patterns)
Experience configuring or optimizing AI chatbots (Fin, Ada, Forethought, etc.) to deflect tickets and improve resolution time
Strong written communication-you can explain complex technical concepts clearly and warmly
Experience with Intercom, Zendesk, or similar support platforms
Comfort diagnosing technical issues and triaging bugs (you don't need to fix them, but you need to know what's broken)
The instinct to systematize-you see a recurring question and build a help article or chatbot flow, not just answer it again
Composure under pressure-outages happen, and you can stay calm while communicating clearly
Exceptionally strong candidates might also have
Experience using Claude Code, Cursor, or similar AI coding tools to build simple automations, scripts, or internal tools
A track record of dramatically improving support efficiency through AI adoption (we want to hear the metrics)
Experience at an early-stage startup where you built support processes from scratch
Familiarity with creative workflows or AI-native products
Background synthesizing customer feedback into actionable product insights
Experience supporting both self-serve users and enterprise accounts
Working at FLORA
Office policy
We work in-person at the Domino Refinery building in Williamsburg, Brooklyn-with views of the East River.
Compensation and benefits
Competitive salary and meaningful equity. We also offer an Equinox membership and comprehensive health and dental coverage.

We're looking for an Event Producer to architect and execute all FLORA events-from high-touch hosted experiences like our Bacchanalia series and creative dinners, to industry conferences, activations, and partner events where FLORA shows up in the world.
This role blends creative production and operational excellence. You'll design experiences that attract and inspire our ICP, create systems that make events repeatable and scalable, and partner with Marketing, Partnerships, and Sales to turn events into community growth, relationships, and customers.
How You'll Make an Impact
FLORA-Hosted Events
Design and produce FLORA events end-to-end-from concept and experience design to logistics, run-of-show, and on-site execution (e.g., Bacchanalia series, parties, dinners, workshops, hackathons, and other new event concepts)
Curate, invite, and engage the right audiences across our creative, brand, agency, and enterprise ICPs.
Partner closely with Sales to structure follow-up workflows that convert event energy into enterprise conversations and opportunities.
Own vendor management (venues, rentals, AV, F&B, performers, staff) and maintain a strong network of reliable partners.
Ensure brand consistency and creative excellence across all FLORA experiences.
FLORA-Attended Events
Map the external event landscape-triaging inbound invitations, identifying high-potential conferences, festivals, summits, and industry gatherings.
Define FLORA's participation strategy (e.g. speaking, sponsoring, exhibiting, hosting side events, attending, etc.).
Lead outreach and negotiation with event organizers; secure speaking slots, sponsorships, booths, and activations.
Coordinate internal teams for on-the-ground attendance-logistics, schedules, prep docs, materials, and roles.
Build repeatable systems and SOPs that help FLORA teammates represent the company effectively, build relationships efficiently, and drive conversions.
Track event performance and ROI-e.g. relationships formed, new customers, enterprise leads, etc.
Cross-Functional Partnerships
Collaborate with Brand to produce event assets, visual identity moments, and creative activations that bring the brand to life.
Work with Sales to ensure events have clear goals, lead capture mechanisms, and strong post-event conversion workflows.
Partner with Marketing to integrate events into broader campaigns, ICP targeting, and storytelling initiatives.
What We're Looking For
5+ years of end-to-end event production experience-across both large-scale experiential activations and intimate, curated gatherings.
Deep familiarity with the creative and cultural landscape in New York City-including new media art, art and design communities, and emerging creatives. You understand the ecosystems our events live in and can curate talent, collaborators, and audiences accordingly.
Creative thinker with operational discipline. You can concept imaginative, brand-aligned experiences while managing budgets, vendors, and logistics.
Exceptional event instincts and taste. You know how to integrate purpose, place, people, production, and programming into an immersive experience.
Meticulous project manager. You run tight timelines, keep every detail accounted for, and always know what's on track, what needs attention, and how to get every workstream aligned.
Personable and empathetic. You naturally understand how to attract, host, and build trust with creative professionals, event attendees, and the broader community.
Passionate, purpose-led, and all-in. You are obsessed with working towards our vision and spreading it to the world.
Hustle and work ethic. You are known for going the extra mile(s). You roll up your sleeves and consider no task beneath you.
Relentless focus on efficiency and effectiveness. You prioritize the highest-leverage activities that have the highest ROI.

Founding Data Scientist
We're looking for a Founding Data Scientist who will build FLORA's data function from the ground up.
As part of the founding team, you will work closely with the CTO and Head of Product to define what data means at this company-how we capture it, store it, analyze it, and turn it into decisions. You'll stand up our warehousing and pipelines, define the metrics that matter (activation moments, power users, generation quality), and build dashboards and analysis workflows.
You'll also work with our Intelligence team (led by a veteran from Scale AI) on the data layer around AI generations. We integrate 200+ models and believe deeply understanding generation patterns will establish FLORA as the creative industry's authority on AI.
We're looking for people who have
Proven ability to work autonomously-you'll be the first data hire and we're counting on your expertise
Deep SQL fluency and strong fundamentals in at least one modern data warehouse (Snowflake, BigQuery, Databricks, ClickHouse, etc.)
Experience building data infrastructure, not just querying it-you've set up pipelines, defined schemas, made tooling decisions
Strong product instincts-you know what to measure, what's vanity, and how to frame findings for stakeholders
Comfort operating in hypergrowth-you can build fast and while also building for scale
The ambition to see this as a path to leading a data team
Exceptionally strong candidates might also have
TypeScript chops-we're full-stack TS and you'll collaborate closely with engineers
Sophisticated PostHog experience (cohorts, funnels, feature flags, warehouse sync)
Experience with creative tools or AI-native products
Familiarity with unstructured data-LLM outputs, prompt patterns, generation analytics
A background building evaluation frameworks for AI/ML systems
Working at FLORAOffice policy
We work in-person at the Domino Refinery building in Williamsburg, Brooklyn-with views of the East River.

Competitive salary and meaningful equity. We also offer an Equinox membership and comprehensive health and dental coverage.
