This position serves as the organization's sole subject matter expert and holds responsibility for expert guidance and standards in Facilities Management.
Prepares material and labor cost data for renovation projects. Assist the Director in budget control. Works with outside contractors on contract work to inspect and give guidance on the university's specifications. Acts as project manager/contract administrator on all Controls Projects for in-house projects and work performed by contractors. Reviews and approves all project manuals [specifications] for Building Automation Systems. Writes scopes of work. Procurement of materials and supplies, using small purchase credit card and eVA.
