Your challenges:*
Apply the basic techniques and procedures of electrical installation.
Read and follow detailed plans, diagrams and different standards in the fabrication of wire harnesses and electrical components.
Lay-in route wires on form board, tying, lacing and apply appropriate anti-chaff protection.
Install solder shields, splices, daisy chains and different electronic components such as resistors, capacitors and diodes etc...

PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Performs a variety of skilled tasks including but not limited to trouble shooting, repairing and preventive maintenance on environmental test equipment which utilize liquid refrigerants in order to provide aircraft, engineering, and manufacturing support, and implement any changes approved by engineering, management or MTC Lead Specialist.
WORKING PROCEDURE AND/OR RESPONSIBILITY ASSIGNED:
1. Responsible for all application of a variety of cooling carts including but not restricted to performing routine sample tests of liquid refrigerants/coolants, etc.
2. Trouble shoot, operate, maintain and repair all refrigeration based systems on environmental test equipment, i.e. thermal chambers, cooling carts, processes, devices, and associated equipment.
3. Contact management or lead specialist, engineering, suppliers, or equipment manufacturers to obtain work orders, drawings, wiring diagrams, schematics, manufacturers specifications, catalogs, and oral or written instructions to perform the tasks required for assigned task. Verify information and report any discrepancy to management or lead specialist.
4. Analyze and repair malfunctions on all refrigeration systems used as environmental test equipment.
5. Modify and repair associated environmental test equipment components of piping/tubing by bending, cutting, threading, soldering, brazing or gluing.
6. Complete data entries, graphs, charts, or reports as required.
7. Maintain records and logs as required.
8. Operate computer systems, including business application systems and PC-based software applications.
9. Maintain all equipment and work areas in a clean and orderly condition.
10. Modify existing air conditioning and refrigeration equipment including Environmental Test Chambers to utilize the new Environmental Protection Agency approved refrigerants.
11. Check and adjust all systems for proper operation after repairs or modifications.

**Responsibilities**

**Minimum Qualifications**

+ Must have Universal CFC
+ High school, technical school, apprenticeship, trade school graduate or equivalent required.
+ Be well-versed in AC/DC Electronic theory and solid-state electronics, digital electronic theory, DDC controls, computer operations and theory.
+ Can maintain, calibrate, and repair various parts of the system using equipment such as digital multimeter, analog voltmeter, variable power supplies, and Simpson meter.
+ Have familiarity with Building Management Systems.
+ Be willing to go off site for in-depth training on appropriate system.
+ Be familiar with how to troubleshoot and repair pneumatic and electronic pneumatic controls.

What you will do
Under minimal supervision, conducts preventive maintenance, repair, installation, and commissioning and general servicing of systems (including detailed troubleshooting of systems). Responsible for high levels of customer satisfaction through direct, on site, customer interface.
