The Controller administers all financial activities of the hotel; implements and monitors effective controls and procedures, prepares accurate and prompt reports and analysis, and provides advice and input on financial decisions impacting the hotel. Additionally, the Controller reports directly to Area General Manager. Works directly with the Executive Committee members on operational issues and ensures financial goals of the hotel are met. Direct preparation of annual budgets, monthly forecasts; monthly, quarterly and annual reports to summarize and forecast hotel revenues, expenses and earnings. Hire, train, evaluate and counsel Accounting staff members. Arrange for audits of hotel accounts. Prepare reports required by regulatory agencies. Work in a cooperative and friendly manner with fellow associates. Practice a culture of guest service in all you do; promote courtesy, good will and a positive attitude in each and every encounter. Perform any reasonable request as assigned or directed by management. What you will be doing Make reservations for all future guests for the hotel, restaurant, and spa, using up-selling techniques to maximize revenue. Understand the selling strategy for the hotel by knowing the status of room inventory and follow it closely to ensure the reservations are accepted for the correct rates and dates. What you will be doing Use established guidelines to correctively utilize and maintain dish machine. Wash glasses and dishes in standard dish rack. Wash pots and pans only in the pot washer's area. Ensure that all cleaning is performed that is required to keep the kitchen neat and clean at all times; this includes sweeping up broken glass/dishes and mopping up any spills. Empty full and heavy trash cans. Make sure they are sprayed and sanitized after each use. Place new trash bags in the container after each cleaning. Follow all MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) protocols, as well as Safety guidelines. Perform other duties in other areas of Kitchen as assigned, including assisting with plating banquet events when needed.

What you will be doing Respond to all service calls within half hour from time call is received. Determine defects, trouble-shoot malfunctions, take immediate necessary corrective action if guest related/top priority or scheduled for completion within 2 days and record same on the departmental work order form. Follow specific departmental procedures in efficiently performing repair, maintenance, alteration and installation work. Comply with the latest local, county, state and federal governmental codes, laws and requirements. Coordinate with other department personnel such as electrician, carpenter, painter and night engineer in completing service, replacement, alteration and new installation work.

What you will be doing Prepare food items for the breakfast and lunch menus and produce a quality product that is presentable and satisfying to the guests. Complete inventory checklist of pantry cooler, pantry desserts, shelves and any other item that may be necessary to complete the job. Requisition food items according to food production charts. Fill out amounts prepped, sold and left over. Communicate with the Executive Chef to find out the specials for the day, any special instructions, forecasts, reservations, etc. Prepare all luncheon and dessert items according to recipes and specs.

What you will be doing Ensure proper staffing levels of front office associates, including interviewing, hiring, supervising, training and scheduling front desk agents, front office supervisors, guest service aides/bell staff, concierge staff and PBX operators. Have complete understanding of Front Office staff's roles and duties and be able to perform duties at any given time. Accurately manage and operate the MICROS system at the front office, including all daily transactions and those which are not performed often. Accurately check AM and PM discrepancy reports. Communicate with Housekeeping and Engineering Departments regarding guest rooms, requests and maintenance requests/needs. Efficiently process guest requests to the appropriate departments Greet and communicate cordially with guests, promptly and professionally checking them in and out of the hotel, answering questions, and assisting guests with needs.
