Don't Just Analyze-Influence: Join EVOQ as Our DataScientist
As our DataScientist, you will be responsible for developing an integrated data ecosystem across our agencies and client portfolios. You'll aggregate, clean, and analyze data from disparate systems (e.g., Shopify, Amazon Seller Central, TikTok Shop, Meta, Google Ads, GA4, HubSpot, and CRM systems) to deliver deep, actionable insights that drive revenue growth. This role is not about generating more data. Our clients need more signal and less noise. You will identify and articulate the strategic implications and deliver recommendations that are specific, actionable, and designed to influence behavior across organizations.
You will be at the intersection of data science, strategy, and storytelling.
You'll play a pivotal role in helping our clients answer complex questions such as:
Are TikTok Shop or Amazon sales cannibalizing our DTC website sales?
What is the true blended ROAS across all channels?
How do paid, owned, and earned investments correlate with lifetime value and margin by channel?
Which creative and influencer strategies drive incremental lift-not just clicks?
How can we accurately calculate marketing attribution across channels-and build custom attribution models that reveal true incremental value?"
You'll partner with our analytics, media, and strategy teams across all EVOQ agencies to create models, dashboards, and methodologies that help clients understand, predict, and optimize performance across channels.
Let us introduce ourselves:
EVOQ is not a holding company.
It is a strategic collective of best-in-class, independently owned marketing agencies that share a common standard of excellence, a culture of innovation, and a commitment to client success. Each agency operates independently but is united by a shared belief: that collaboration, specialization, and strategic alignment can create marketing that outperforms expectations.
EVOQ offers:
Access to elite, discipline-specific expertise across the marketing ecosystem
A flexible model: a la carte services or fully integrated solutions
Scalable resources without the red tape of traditional holding companies
A culture grounded in ownership, accountability, and entrepreneurial energy
The freedom to innovate, evolve, and lead--not follow
What you'll do as DataScientist:
Lead our data strategy:
Design and maintain a unified data infrastructure connecting systems like Amazon, Shopify, GA4, TikTok Shop, and more
Build robust ETL pipelines and APIs to centralize multi-channel data
Develop a scalable data lake/warehouse for cross-agency analytics
Establish strategic measurement frameworks that go beyond vanity metrics
Build models that matter:
Create econometric and attribution models (MMM, MTA) to decode marketing performance
Analyze incrementality, channel cannibalization, and blended ROAS
Deliver predictive models that uncover efficiency, margin growth, and ROI
Translate complex data into insights that directly influence brand and business strategies
Communicate for impact:
Develop intuitive dashboards (Power BI, Looker Studio, etc.)
Synthesize data into clear, compelling stories for both technical and non-technical audiences
Define KPIs that align with client success and agency growth
Help evolve our analytics culture with storytelling at its core
Be a strategic leader:
Serve as the group-wide data science expert across all EVOQ agencies
Mentor analysts and build data fluency across functions
Lead data governance and standardization efforts
Stay ahead of trends in AI, marketing analytics, and e-commerce intelligence
Knowledge and skills required for the position are:
Bachelor's Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
7+ years of experience in data science, marketing analytics, or quantitative marketing roles, preferably in an advertising agency, performance marketing, or e-commerce environment.
Proficiency with Python, R, SQL, and modern ETL tools (e.g., Airflow, dbt, Fivetran).
Experience with data warehousing solutions (e.g., BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift).
Experience with marketing intelligence and attribution platforms (e.g., Northbeam, TripleWhale, Funnel)
Familiarity with API integrations and marketing data connectors
Hands-on experience with visualization platforms like Power BI, Tableau, or Looker Studio.
Experience developing MMM, MTA, and causal inference models.
Deep understanding of marketing and commerce platforms including Google Ads, Meta Ads, Amazon, TikTok Shop, Shopify, Klaviyo, GA4, and CRM systems.
Experience analyzing blended ROAS, attribution, and incrementality in omnichannel campaigns.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience working with or within a digital or performance marketing agency.
Proven ability to balance hands-on analysis with leadership and cross-team collaboration.
