Responsibilities
The Banking Center Assistant Manager delivers an exceptional client experience through the leadership and motivation of a high-performing team. This position ensures operational excellence to protect clients, team members, and the bank, including the oversight of operational controls in the banking center, monitoring adherence to policies, procedures, audit standards, legal, and regulatory requirements, and timely communication of operational changes to all banking center team members. The Assistant Manager is responsible for motivating Client Service Representatives to perform their best through activity-based coaching and capability development; identifying and hiring top talent; and providing candid, actionable performance feedback. The Assistant Manager delivers sales and service results that meet defined performance targets by providing personalized financial advice to fulfil each client's sales and service needs, implementing strategies to retain and deepen existing client relationships, establishing new banking relationships through the execution of Old National's sales process, referring clients to business product partners, building customer confidence with digital channel capabilities, providing account servicing and maintenance, and effectively resolving customer concerns.
Salary Range
The salary range for this position is $21.50/Hr. - $37.50/Hr. Final compensation will be determined by location, skills, experience, qualifications and the career level at which the position is filled.
Key Accountabilities
Banking Center Profitability and Oversight
Assist the Banking Center Manager in monitoring and evaluating individual sales and service goals.
Conduct regular meetings with banking center team to build product knowledge, review goals and expectations, recognize areas of success and opportunities for development; share corporate marketing campaign and supporting materials, and proactively introduce all servicing channels to consumer and business clients.
Partners with the Banking Center Manager and Market Service Leader to ensure appropriate oversight of banking center operations, including compliance with bank policies, procedures and audit standards, compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, compliance with security policies/practices, and oversight of security equipment.
Oversees the daily banking center operations including scheduling, customer service workflows, training and compliance, and resolving client issues.
Client Centric Sales Approach
Build banking center team focused on a consultative sales approach, uncovering needs of clients and providing education and advice regarding the products and services available to meet the client's needs.
Sets high goals for personal accomplishment for themselves and their team. Measures and monitors progress toward goal attainment and provides individualized coaching to team members.
Leads, manages and motivates the Client Service Representatives to achieve performance excellence in the areas of client service, operational knowledge, transaction processing, and referrals; drives a reward team member experience and fosters a culture in which everyone can contribute to their fullest potential through the facilitation of the learning, growth and performance of each team member in the areas of client service, service excellence and relationship development.

Qualifications and Education Requirements
Education: Associate Degree in business related field preferred or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience
3+ years of experience in banking, retail sales leadership and or customer service
2+ years of supervisory experience, preferably in the banking or retail industry
Licenses/Certifications: must be eligible to register with the National Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS)

What We Are Looking For
The full-time employee in this position is responsible for serving as a bilingual KLN employer brand ambassador and connector both for members of the greater Perham and Delano communities as well as for KLN employees. This employee will serve as a company and community resource as well as an internal and external liaison helping lead education, outreach and initiatives specifically focused on removing language-related barriers for employees and KLN employee candidates. Essential Duties:
Community Outreach and Recruitment Support
Work with multiple stakeholder groups in the greater community and multiple teams within KLN to identify, plan and staff bi-lingual community outreach and recruitment events and activities.
Create and maintain strong working relationships and reputation with community organizations and leaders.
Serve as a principal point of contact and support for candidates going through the KLN employment process to answer questions and troubleshoot as needed.
Work with various KLN departments to help identify and remove barriers to the hiring process through the creation of improved organizational practices and processes.
Help connect community members and job candidates to appropriate KLN staff when needed.
KLN Employee Outreach, Support, and Training
Work with multiple departments within KLN to identify organizational process and structure improvements to remove communication barriers between Spanish and English-speaking employees.
Lead and facilitate quarterly town hall meetings/diversity lunches to gather feedback on the employee experience for our non-English speaking employees.
Help create and support new employee onboarding processes for Spanish speaking employees.

Help connect employees to appropriate KLN staff and leadership as needed.
Work with the Learning and Development Manager to identify and provide professional development opportunities for non-English speaking employees.
Work with company leaders that provide opportunities to build trust and understanding across different employee cultures.
Provide diversity training to English speaking supervisory personnel.
Provide benefits education and assistance in navigating healthcare, plan options and the KLN wellness program.
Assist in driving participation in employee engagement surveys and action plans to drive continuous improvement in the employee experience for non-English speaking employees.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
While the Bilingual Outreach Coordinator is not an interpreter, translator or HR professional, they may be asked to help in filling these needs occasionally. This role is dedicated to building a bilingual presence of support in community and within KLN, strong organizational infrastructure, and a foundation of trust as KLN expands its employee base to include an increasing number of Spanish speaking employees.
Qualifications

The district manages hundreds of federally owned waterfowl production areas in Becker, Clay, Mahnomen, Norman and Polk Counties in northwest Minnesota, as well as Hamden Slough National Wildlife Refuge. The district is divided into three general landscape areas: the Red River Valley floodplain, the glacial moraine/prairie pothole region and the hardwood/coniferous forest. Land acquisition and management efforts are focused in the prairie pothole region of the district, with a goal of providing habitat for nesting waterfowl. About 6,000 acres of remnant tallgrass prairie have been saved, while thousands of acres of prairie pothole wetlands and tallgrass prairie vegetation have been restored. These habitats are not only critical for waterfowl but are beneficial to other wildlife species as well.

Position Overview: The mission of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS) is working with others to conserve, protect, and enhance fish, wildlife, plants, and their habitats for the continuing benefit of the American people. This position will help FWS realize its mission at Detroit Lakes WMD.
The selected individuals (members) will work alongside FWS staff and others on a number of projects during their term. The duties would focus primarily on invasive plant species inventory and control using strategies such as herbicide, mechanical, biological or cultural. Members will be required to operate off-road utility vehicles to access refuge tracts. This work will also include mobile data entry and some GIS work. Other biological responsibilities may include prairie vegetation surveys, migratory bird surveys and potentially other periodic wildlife monitoring activities. In addition to the aforementioned biological work, the member will be given exposure to habitat management, public use/visitor services, and refuge maintenance activities as opportunities arise.
This individual placement is meant to facilitate professional development and promotes exposure to land management agencies and networking with professionals. This could include gaining experience in different conservation fields and shadowing different work groups.
Schedule: Duties will primarily be carried out Monday - Friday. Bi-weekly totals should not exceed 80 hours. A flexible work schedule may be required, which could involve work performed outside of normal work hours including on weekends and/or holidays. Time off may be granted, and requests should be directed to ACE and the FWS for approval.
Position Benefits
Living Allowance: The ACE Member is expected to contribute ~40 hours/week and will receive a living allowance of $450/week to offset the costs of food and incidental expenses, dispersed bi-weekly.
AmeriCorps Education Award Program: This position may be eligible for an 450-hour AmeriCorps Education Award while serving under the EAP 2025/26 grant year program, valued up to $1,956.35 upon successful completion of a complete service term and 450 hrs. Please note, AmeriCorps position eligibility is not guaranteed and may not be available for all positions.
Loan Forbearance: AmeriCorps members may also be eligible for federal loan forbearance. Additional enrollment steps are required.

Public Land Corps Hiring Authority: Members serving under this agreement may be eligible for a federal hiring authority upon completion of their term of service and 640 hours of service. Environmental Conditions/Hazards: The ACE member(s) may encounter environmental conditions/hazards including extreme heat or cold, rocky terrain, swamp or wetland conditions, biting insects, and potentially dangerous wildlife. The member is expected to conduct duties in a safe and orderly manner so as not to endanger self, fellow staff/members or resources.
Vehicle and Equipment Use/Safety: If a vehicle is required for the accomplishment of the duties, one will be provided by the FWS or ACE. Any tools required for the accomplishment of the duties will be provided by the FWS. Use of personal protective equipment (PPE), typically provided by the FWS, will be mandatory for any activity that requires it.
