PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
* Merchandise store shelving, coolers and displays with products in assigned accounts
* Rotate products in the backroom and on the shelf
* Transport products to and from backroom to shelf location
* Use equipment to transport products (e.g., U Boats, hand trucks, pallet jacks, etc.)
* Display promotional material such as signs and banners in accounts
* Keep back room stock in neat and orderly condition

Professionally clean and maintain a portfolio of vacation rental properties using cleaning procedures and products in conformance with prescribed company standards.
Sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and washing all surfaces.

The Snowmaker I will assist with day-to-day operations in the safe production of a suitable snow surface and will work as a member of a team of snowmakers. As a snowmaker, you will learn how to perform snow quality checks, snow gun adjustments, assembly and operation of all types of snow guns, and equipment placement on trails. In this job you will be working long hours, overnights and exposed to the elements. This important role is critical to getting the ski season up and running.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (include the following, other duties may be assigned)
Reads, understand, and applies techniques found in the Jay Peak Snowmaking Operations and Safety Manual.
Participates in training to become proficient in safe fire-up, operation, adjustment, and shut-down of all types of snow guns, and high pressure hoses and hydrants associated with them.
Receives training and becomes acquainted with the location, safe actuation, and manipulation of pipeline distribution valves in their respective on-mountain valve stations.
Receives training in the geography and trail/place names for all snowmaking related locations.
Expects to work 12 hour shifts as scheduled by Snowmaking Shift Lead.
Receives training on how to be self-reliant for unknown periods of time in harsh winter conditions, on extreme terrain, and perform tasks in these conditions.
Receives training from Snowmaking Shift Lead, Snowmaking Supervisor, or Risk Manager in the safe use of ATV's and Snowmobiles in mountainous conditions.
Receives training to become proficient in all aspects of pump house and compressor operations, including how to read, interpret and communicate readings on the control to system to the crew in the field.
Other duties as assigned, which could be directly related, or un-related to original position.

RESORT CONDITIONS
This is a Winter Resort Area. Some facilities are located at the base or bottom area and some are semi-remote and can only be reached by traveling via chair lift(s), skis or snowboards. Walking surfaces are frequently frozen, sloped and slippery. Proper footwear is a must, indoors and out. Work days and hours, as well as the number of hours required will vary, with an emphasis on weekends and holidays.
