Part of a fast paced, multi-discipline team tasked to develop products that are cost effective, manufacturable, and that meet customer requirements. Responsibilities include: • Strong participant in multi-national, cross-disciplinary teams to develop new products. • Apply engineering principles to design mechanical components and assemblies • Generate 3D models and 2D drawings using Computer Aided Design Tools • Work with suppliers to obtain fast turn prototypes • Validate technologies and product designs with implementation of comprehensive validation plans • Provide cost analysis for designs • Participate in product certification process and certification maintenance. • Generation of project requirements based on market needs. • Developing engineering design concepts for components and electromechanical assemblies that have tough requirements for size, precision, reliability and cost.
