PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION
Performs advanced engineering problem solving in support of power plants. Responsible for technical decisions. PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
Provides in-depth technical expertise to develop, manage and implement engineering activities related to plant safety, reliability, maintainability, and availability ensuring compliance to customer's needs, regulatory requirements, and corporate policies
Accountable for the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of work ensuring proper configuration management and assuring that standard design criteria, practices and codes are used in preparation of plans and specifications.
Provide technical expertise and consultation through direct involvement to identify and resolve equipment and system problems
Perform independent research, reviews, studies and analyses in support of technical projects
Provides initial or complete task management of engineering issues

Process Engineering experience in the Natural Gas industry

+ Recognize, predict and document potential generator failures.
+ Present to the customer accurate generator quality issues as presented and selected by Generator Product Service and regional generator specialists.
+ Familiarity with Power Circuit Breakers, Protective Relay Systems, and AC and DC Motors / Generators
+ Working knowledge of basic electrical circuits and electrical troubleshooting
+ Working knowledge of prints/print reading, such as manufacturing drawings, P&IDs and schematic drawings
+ Participate as a Service Team member dedicated to Safety metrics.
+ Pre-outage planning; possibly recommending and administering policies and procedures
+ Execution of projects, including: generator field and stator rewinds, general generator repairs, and inspections
+ Support warranty administration and troubleshooting issues

**Compensation and Benefits:**
The annual salary range for this position is $67,100.00 to $110,700.00. This is an exempt from overtime position. Fleet Engineer The Fleet Engineer supports the Assistant Port Engineer in the maintenance, repair, and regulatory compliance of all American Cruise Lines' (ACL) certificated vessels and launches. The Fleet Engineer provides immediate response for critical repairs to the portion of the ACL fleet assigned, to ensure the vessels remains safe and on schedule. The Fleet Engineer must be familiar with all vessel machinery, equipment and systems. This individual is responsible for following established safety practices while performing assigned duties to protect self, workers, and the public from personal injury and to prevent damage to ACL's property and the environment. This position reports directly to the regional Assistant Port Engineer.

Responsibilities:
* Take supervision and direction from the Assistant Port Engineer and Port Engineer.
* Provides support and coverage to Assistant Port Engineers.
* Identifies and troubleshoots technical vessel problems and provides fast solutions to minimize downtime.
* Expedites vendors for critical repairs.
* Coordinates and communicates with Marine Operations for critical repairs and determines a timeline for resolution.
