Our summer intern program is tailored to individuals who are currently enrolled full-time students at an accredited four-year college or university. The internship runs from May to August - dependent on the school calendar. The goal of the Huntsman Intern Program is to provide a structured program that will equip interns with the skills and experience to help prepare for a successful career. The internship program will allow interns to apply knowledge learned in school to a real-world manufacturing or R&D setting, and gain insight into the operation of a multinational chemical company. As an Engineering Intern you will: Assist in the development of Asset Life Plans, troubleshoot equipment failures, and identify corrective actions. Identify process improvement opportunities related to these troubleshooting efforts. Participate in the project scope and cost estimate development for projects assigned. Work with engineers and construction coordinators on installation, testing, and commissioning of newly installed devices. Assist with the troubleshooting of equipment in the field and provide technical support as needed. Participate in both onsite and offsite technical training opportunities.
