What this Department does:
The Engineering and Technical Services organization serves as a technical resource for the Company as it relates to the design, construction, and operation of facilities and pipe used in the transportation and storage of natural gas and crude oil. In addition to partnering with Operations to assess and maintain our existing assets, we play an integral role in new projects - from conception to completion.
What you will bring:
Education:
Student actively pursuing a degree in mechanical engineering or a related field with a preferred expected graduation date of December 2025 through December 2027.
Experience/Specific Knowledge:
Strong understanding of basic engineering principles and drafting techniques.
Proficiency in CAD software, preferably AutoCAD or Inventor.

What you will do:
As a Piping Drafter Intern, you will be a vital part of our engineering team, learning the intricacies of piping design and drafting. Language Skills- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Mathematical Skills- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
