Position Objective: The Design Intern assists the design team with the execution of seasonal collections, fabrications and colors that maintain the brand identity. The Design Intern will gain exposure to the development, concept, and design of the product line. Other responsibilities include preparing line review presentation materials, concept boarding, fabric and color boards and flat sketches. Functional Responsibilities: * Be exposed to the total business processes and procedures * Gain an understanding of the roles of the retail professionals * Assist with special projects as assigned Preferred Qualifications: * Experience in MS Office and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator) * Exposure to tech packs and hand/computer flats * An eye for trend, color, print and pattern * Junior or Senior status at an accredited college or university with minimum GPA of 3.0 * Interest in pursuing a career in retail * Strong communication, organizational skills, and an eagerness to learn Program Details: The Chico's FAS Summer Internship Program welcomes the classes of 2026 and 2027 college students to work with several of our brands (Chico's, Soma, and White House Black Market) to kick-start their career in retail.
