Responsibilities
Design, upgrade, integrate, configure, test, and maintain the Aerospace Systems Directorate digital news.
Develop, create, input, assign and publish digital news content.
Monitor status of digital news and troubleshoot.
Automate playlists, schedule content and push emergency notifications real time.
Responsible for expansion of digital news - identify potential locations and specs to include infrastructure, power, cabling, hardware, software and network.
Manage Network Multimedia Devices (NMD), such as Omnivex Moxie (Digital News) and Electronic Directory Locators. This will include the oversight of the connection of digital news players to the unclassified network.
Manage software upgrades for the digital news as needed.
Schedule, set up, maintain, and coordinate digital news activities within the Directorate.
Coordinate with all Aerospace Systems Directorate locations to ensure communications are reliable and consistent for digital news and electronic directory equipment.
Perform all duties related to the tracking and management of digital news software, equipment and assets, as designated by the Directorate. This includes, procurement, receiving, storage, inventory, tagging/identifying, moving and turn in.
Provide on-site support to accomplish tradeshow preparation and execution, tour coordination, and event planning for the Aerospace Systems Directorate. These three activities have the potential to support a wide demographic group including senior Air Force and DoD leadership, industry leaders, academia, and STEM communities.
Tours: Be able to provide direct support to corporate tour activities. Tour support shall include pre-tour planning, agenda development, dry run and tour execution and escorting groups. Regular coordination with the lead tour POC will be required to keep leadership fully informed of all upcoming tour plans and dignitary visits.
Tradeshows: Be able to develop and recommend corporate marketing plans and products in support of planned tradeshow events. The products will communicate the organization's roles, mission, technologies, and capabilities to our customers, stakeholders, and decision makers. It may be necessary to integrate these marketing activities with HQ AFRL corporate events. Support would also require producing, editing, and reviewing outgoing materials for public release approvals.
