Perform inspections of work performed by outside vendors prior to putting back in-service Perform mechanical repairs including engine, clutch, oil changes, greasing, transmission, brake repairs, tire changes hoses, belts, fluids and wiring, hydraulic systems, lighting, other electrical systems. Respond to fleet service calls, pick-up and delivery of vehicles and parts. Maintain shop tools and equipment to company standards. Support other locations if needed. Qualifications: High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience Experience with commercial truck repair in manufacturing environment preferred. Mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting Power transmission troubleshooting Fabricating and/or machining ability Basic electrical troubleshooting Knowledge of 12/48 volt, propane control power Welding skills an asset CDL an asset Ability to be self-managed, scheduling and performing work often unsupervised Reliable, motivated, dedicated, and committed. Must demonstrate a continuous improvement mindset. Must be able to pass all medical exams, drug and background checks (including criminal). Candidates must possess strong English language skills to effectively communicate with customers and provide exceptional service.
