POSITION SUMMARY & RESPONSIBILITIES: Special focus will be placed on: * Production optimization and troubleshooting on various artificial lift types on conventional wells: rod pump and plunger lift * Production optimization on unconventional wells including continuous flow and plunger lift Utilize echo meter to gather fluid shots and dynamometer cards. * Assists with troubleshooting wells and presents findings to management. * Assists with well reviews and evaluates generated action items. * Evaluates inactive wells to either turn back inline or plug and abandon. * Coordinates activities to turn wells back inline and works with various departments to ensure volumes are captured. * Coordinates special projects per management's discretion. * Relieve Lease Operator as needed. POSITION REQUIREMENTS: * High school or higher level of education * A minimum of 5 years' experience in the gas/oil industry. * Experience with well operations and volume optimization. * Basic computer skills (PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, Excel) * Excellent verbal communication skills, including the ability to interact with individuals at all levels within the organization. * Demonstrated ability to organize and interpret data, and to problem solve. Physical Requirements and Working Conditions * Must be able to move or traverse from one location on the job site to another. This includes the ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods, frequently positioning oneself (e.g., to stoop, kneel, or squat) to perform tasks, and occasionally ascend/descend (e.g., ladders or uneven terrain) * Ability to detect, determine, perceive, identify, recognize, judge, observe, inspect, estimate, and assess driving operations effectively (either naturally or with corrective lenses). * Ability to operate a 4X4 vehicle. * Must be able to repetitively move or position feet, shoulders, arms, wrists, and back. Constantly operates, uses, and positions hands and fingers in performance of work * Must be able to work atop elevated surfaces and traverse various heights * Lifts or carries 116 lbs. or more, which falls into the "heavy" category (over 50 pounds). * Frequently pushes and pulls with a maximum force of 150 ft./lbs. * Constantly works in outdoor weather conditions and is exposed to varying environmental conditions, including well site conditions.
