Responsible for the maintenance and delivery of parts, supplies and equipment to job sites in a safe, timely and cost-effective manner. Receive incoming inventory and package products for shipment to ensure error-free packaging, efficient loading, unloading, and departure of trucks, and accurate product inventory. Verify and keep records on incoming and outgoing inventory. This position is classified as a Safety Sensitive Position due to the work environment and equipment trained and used by staff. Receive incoming materials and compare information on packing slip with purchase orders, invoices, or other documents to verify accuracy of shipment. Prepare orders for shipment by retrieving inventory and packaging appropriately for damage free delivery. Use of company. After training, implement facility closure tasks at end of identified shift. Regular and reliable on-site attendance is a requirement of employment. Requirements QUALIFICATION STANDARDS High School Diploma or High School Equivalent strongly preferred. Mathematical ability to sort, check, count, measure, and verify numbers and or product shipped or received. Demonstrated computer skills in the use of company ERP System as required. Ability to operate material handling equipment after training. Ability to read and write. Good communication skills. Ability to prepare routine administrative paperwork, perform math calculations and perform computer data entry. Valid NY State Class B driver's license and/or CDL endorsement a plus, for back-up driving. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.
