Job Description

Job Description
This role supports the Energy division by working in our industrial solar fields. You'll be responsible for assisting our electricians in installing solar fields. What You'll Do
Attend continuing education to support the annual renewal of registration.
Seek and gain knowledge of current electrical codes and best practices.
Track and report annual electrical work experience and ongoing education for annual registration renewal.
Work in all elements, depending on job location and time of year.
Obtain personal tools and carry them for extended periods of time.
Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Work in restricted areas, and at heights.
Ability to positively identify wire colors.
Experience with hand, and power tools.
Gain experience in reading and interpreting electrical drawings and schematics.
Learn how to bend conduit by and with hydraulic bending machines.
Interpret construction documents, specifications, verbal, and written instructions.

Location/Travel: This position will require travel in/around South Bend, IN - up to/within a 200-mile radius. Must live (or self-relocate) within 25 miles/60-minutes of the reporting location.

Industrial experience with HVAC/R
Experience in maintenance of crude oil pipeline system, pumping station(s) or delivery facilities or certified technical designation.
Familiarity with pertinent equipment (pumps, motors, valves, switchgear, flow meters, programmable logic controls, motor control centers, uninterruptible power supplies and instrumentation).
Working Conditions:
Primarily field oriented (outdoor) with specific office (indoor) functions for training, meetings, and documentation of required tasks, dictated by Department of Transportation and other regulatory agencies for which Enbridge must comply.
100% Drug Free and alcohol free when on duty as Maintenance On-Call or emergency response.
Travel is required ~25%; up to 25 days per year may be required including some overnight travel.
Required to participate in Maintenance On-Call schedule (every third week) and provide 24-hour emergency response as needed.
Work often required in high noise level areas and areas where vapors from crude oil and solvents may be present.

This role supports the Energy division by working in our industrial solar fields. You'll be responsible for assisting our electricians in installing solar fields. What You'll Do
Attend continuing education to support the annual renewal of registration.
Seek and gain knowledge of current electrical codes and best practices.

Obtain personal tools and carry them for extended periods of time.
Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Work in restricted areas, and at heights.
Ability to positively identify wire colors.
Experience with hand, and power tools.
Gain experience in reading and interpreting electrical drawings and schematics.
Learn how to bend conduit by and with hydraulic bending machines.
