**This role in summary**
**Position provides functional support to install and maintain electrical work on plant electrical systems and equipment. Responsible for work on substation, wiring circuits, distribution centers, control panels, electronic devices, etc. Work hours consist of a rotating 10-hr shift with 8 days on, 6 days off. **Your responsibilities will include**
Install and maintain electrical work on plant electrical systems and equipment with minimum supervision, using a broad knowledge of applied trade practices and technique.
The use of ladders, raised platforms, caged lifts, and manual climbing on equipment at various heights up to and including 25 feet is required.
Plan, layout and install complex wiring circuits and distribution centers in conformance with established codes, install switches and controls, central subsidiary control panels, electronic devices and all other duties incidental to installation.
Maintain substation; diagnose and remedy all electrical, electronic and mechanical troubles.
Work from wiring, hydraulic, pneumatic schematic drawings and code book.
Use all electrical measuring and testing devices.
May direct and layout work for electricians of lower classification.
**Minimum requirements**
+ State of WIsconsin license is required
+ All license electricians from another state without a WI license must show proof of reciprocity between the state they are license in and WI
+ Candidates with electrical experience without a WI license must acquire a license within six months of the first date of employment.

• Operates power saw in machine shop. Operates flame-cutting torch. Operates electric and acetylene welding equipment. Operates pipe-threading machine. May operate other machinery as required.
• Assists other maintenance personnel in various maintenance and construction tasks as required.
• Assists foreman to maintain safety and good housekeeping practices in shop and work area

The Electronics Technician - Rapid PCBA is a member of our technician team in the Power Tool Electronics Laboratory. Your main responsibility will be populating printed circuit boards to deliver Electronic Prototypes on time, with high quality and with a continuous improvement mindset.
You'll also be DISRUPTIVE through these duties and responsibilities:
Setup and operate automated assembly equipment for prototype PCBAs.
Collaborate with all members of the Rapid PCBA team regarding material readiness and setup status.
Provide post assembly manufacturing feedback regarding best practices
Assist in completing preventive maintenance on equipment.
Effectively communicate project delays and updates.
Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
Work to improve productivity while maintaining quality standards
Assist in continuous improvement and process implementation activities.
What TOOLS you'll bring with you:
Associates Degree from a two-year college or technical school. Equivalent work experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
Strong knowledge of operating soldering equipment typically used for both densely populated SMT circuits as well as wiring for power electronics.
Ability to read schematics.
IPC knowledge.
Must be able to identify electronic components, polarity, values, etc.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Experience using and working with Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
Other TOOLS we prefer you to have:
Manufacturing experience with Automated assembly and inspection equipment.
Experience working alongside engineers in an engineering/electronics lab.
